You can use hinges and servos to control the direction/angle of your propellers

Gimbal jets are useful for VTOL craft. You should use them in pair with rotating platform so they can change from vertical lift to horizontal thrust, and airfoil to retain the lift, give control and provide stability.

GG. I would put a long thin beam straight up from the cockpit and the gimbal jets on top. That way the weight of the craft would always swing it upright.

I know you want to make you're own creations, but why are you so afraid to look at the pre-made ones. At the very least you can look at them to see how the parts work/function together, to give yourself a better idea of how to build your own.

Z1 I think the reason you are having a hard time controlling your helicopter is that you are using a bike seat which is the reason you tilt all over the place

Place a gimble on top that is at full power and place a gimble on the bottom that is at negative max power it will help stability and if you place them farther from the center you can get it to work better

If you have enough cores, maybe use a total of 12 gymbal jets - 4 for allowing level flight unloaded, 4 for slow elevation changes and 4 for use when carrying a heavy load. Also, maybe enhance the forward thrust and place it next to the magnets.

You can select multiple objects with the ctrl button in build mode to move or edit them in a group instead of editing separately. Also, you can move objects using w a s d buttons for easier block placement.

use the gokart seat, is lighter has connection points on all sides(exc. top) and has better seat control in the air

Once you get one of the versions of the helicopter engine, you can use it’s torque alone to act as pitch, roll, and yaw (of course you would have to have separate ones for each axis)
