Damn she is amazing. The change from 2:20 is seamless- can't tell if it's a modulation along with the tempo increase. The vibrato is so right and powerful from 2:41. The dynamic contrast is so damn good from start to end. I'm addicted! Why didn't she become a singer or regular on Broadway?! To think Glee had this and squandered it to showcase Lea Michele for the 1000th song or whatever. I like the brisker tempo and love that the clarinet not the horn or trumpet is doing those cool instrumental bits (I’m a clarinettist so biased haha).
Contract doesn't determine who's better. This is all opinionated. I think they both did this song very well. If I wasn't able to see the video, I'd think they were the same people. They both have amazing vibrato, that growl on "*I* want it!" an amazing range, powerful belt, musical theater vibe, etc.
Melissa performed this in 2009, before The pilot of Glee even aired. It's before Lindsay, and better than Lindsay. Comparisons need not be made. Just saying.
it doesnt matter where melissa touches you if she was that perfecto she would still have a whole bunch of episodes like alex like sam and like damian they only gave her two and shes gone stop hating on melissa
The (probable) Glee Project winner seems to be female and has a fairly regular figure while still being a very pretty girl. So there's that (Though there's no way of knowing if she won 100% until Tuesday...)
lindsay pearce couldnt do it that much better melissa is a cast regular while the other three contestants from the glee project have had more than two episodes
walang basagan ng opinyon, alam ko yan almost 3 weeks na yang comment ko at kailan lang inilabas ang video ni Melissa Benoist na iniinterview... umeentrada ka lang eh...
they replaced Lindsay Pearce with her pretty much... I'll support her, but does every girl they have to cast be the skinniest stick in the world? wow glee bravo
