Thanks! I've used GIMP for years, and have avoided certain tools, due to lack of knowledge of some of the selection modes. Your videos on Foreground Select made it easy to learn and apply.

So I am getting the prison bar effect when I am using the foreground select. Read posts about where this is a bug and many others had the problem. Any fix for this or advice. Sometimes it will work for me but not everytime.

There are a lot of more or less instant background removers available (and I think Photoshop has one?) on the Internet. Is Gimp going to make one of these available so you don't have to go through all these steps?

Watching your interesting tutorial on colour balance, a commercial suddenly appeared in the middle of ytour tutorial (at 80 % of the duration approximately). I could not see any longer what you are doing, Canb you please remove this commercial? Thanks.
