Gimp 2.10.8 standard installation - Windows 10. Always check all your settings and options with the ones from the tutorial, not only the ones that are mentioned. When you use an image with a different size, you might need to adjust some of the values from the tutorial.

👉👉👉 GIMP uses layers to let you organize your image. Think of them as a stack of slides or filters, such that looking through them you see a composite of their contents. 👈👈👈

Hello Jan, I wish you and your family HAPPY CHRISTMAS. Thank you for this great tutorial. I have watched it at least 4 times. First, I redesigned the vehicle. Then I tried to do the same with my favourite object ... my dog :). But ... I should have listened to your instructions better ("works best ... when there are not many distracting reflections ...") I made two attempts, with different images, but I didn't like the result. After that, I decided to make the outlines of my dog with the path tool and fill it with neon colours. That worked and now I am happy with the picture. Thank you!!! Greatings from Germany. Enjoy your Christmas holidays. XXX Amy

Dankjewel Jan, de gebogen lijnen zijn wel een beetje gekarteld. Waarschijnlijk is mijn afbeelding wat klein om een mooi resultaat te bekomen. Ik ben gestart met een nieuw document van 1000 x 1000 pixels. Ik kan later nog eens met een groter ontwerp proberen 😊groeten Ella

Hey@@Ella-yl6zi 🎅 Ik denk idd dat met een groter document, d.w.z. hogere resolutie het resultaat wel wat beter zal zijn. Ik vind 1000 bij 1000 eigenlijk al tamelijk klein... haha. Maar ik blijf hem toch goed gelukt vinden hoor. Leuk dat je even langskwam op kerstavond 🌲 Groetjes terug, Jan.

I'm pretty sure Ctrl+Zed doesn't do anything in Gimp. Ctrl+z will undo though. It goes well with the weird rendition of "The Devil Goes Down to Georgia" though.
