My favorite bleach character.

Descending, its cool to see gin was still able to find peace on his mind when he's dying "at least i apologized to rangiku i am glad" and "i see you are strong man now Ichigo, i am glad".

I think he didn't continue the battle with Aizen, just because Ichigo arrived. I don't believe that in the anime, where characters are pierced many times, they lose liter of blood and continue to stand, one of the strongest characters just died of several wounds.

TheScorge Hmm, yea i liked it. I really enjoyed the anime but I dont think that Bleach is really good. Don't get me wrong; I love the most characters but some charas, like ichigo, were to overpowered. Besides there were way to many fillers. All in all I think that Bleach is a good shounen with awesome music and nice characters but there are a lot of things that ruined the anime for me. That's my own opinion :x

Wrong. Gin did nothing horrible, one of the reasons why he is superior to Itachi and Snape. He never killed any of his fellow Shinigamis and only raised his sword against them in order to protect and motivate them...

okay yeah, I can see why you think that. But even if it was to protect Rangiku and motivate the other shinigami, that doesn't cancel out that what Gin did was still not good--Itachi killed his clan to save Konoha and his brother and Snape betrayed Voldemort and acted as a double spy, but in the end, some of their actions, while for good, were kind of horrible. This is just me stating my opinion, so please don't feel like I'm trying to correct you... I'm interested in hearing what you perceive Gin to be like and what your opinions are since I personally characterize Gin as someone who cared really only for Izuru and Rangiku above everyone else as the times that he raised his sword against any other shinigami (actively aiding in the hollowfication experimentation on visored and other shinigami and arrancar/hollows, which had a possibility of killing them or causing irreparable mental damage, calling Ichigo weak and telling him to run away, playing mind games with Rukia before her execution to be sadistic, almost killing Rukia if not for Byakuya's intervention, almost killing Momo if not for Rangiku's intervention, cutting Hiyori in half...) shows that while he didn't actually KILL any of them, he definitely wasn't trying to motivate them or protect them except for Rangiku). Also one thing you said that is factually incorrect is that Gin did kill other shinigami... he murdered the previous third seat of the fifth division and also killed other lower rank shinigami. All of these things is why I believe that Gin has done horrible things. Again, this is just my opinion, so ignore it if you want to... I'm not trying to correct your beliefs because I think that they're equally valid.

Yeah he's interesting. What you're saying is one of the reason I hate him getting compared to characters like Itachi. Like...Itachi was a _genuinly good guy_ Who was literally on a mission. Given by the Hokage. Gin ain't that. Sure, his goals were "good" and he wasn't "evil" - but he isn't your nice guy neighbor either :D He really _was_ an asshole in many ways who would have enjoyed taunting and tilting people regardless. Just for example. He said it himself the best. He wasn't lying when he told Aizen: "I'm a snake who enjoys to devour the chosen pray of his liking". He identified Aizen as someone who is dangerous and has to be taken care of. But he also kinda did it for "fun". "I and I alone will single handedly take down that man" - the thought of that excited him. He did it as much for his own enjoyment as for Rangiku. He wasn't burried in Sereitei. He was still branded a traitor - not for his intentions but his actions - and was burried in Rukongai. It kinda suits "the man who left nothing behind"

​@@bexclue3007 i know your comment is old but thinking that Itachi was a good guy when he commited a genocide is honestly just you being delusional. At least Gin knew what he was doing was wrong. (Also Rangiku and Kira knew what he was trying to do according to the character book so he probably wasnt considered a traitor anymore in the end)

Ichigo knew, Rangiku knew and at some point she ewen talked to Kira bout it, so some people knew.

@@elektranatchios4378 Yeah, when he came back from the space "in between" when he saw Gin and in the Fullbring arc he even mentioned it "I could feel people intentions when fighting them from their zanpakutou, but from some people I couldnt feel anything, ( Gin flashback ) because his intentions were always set elswhere." - meaning Killing Aizen. He ven said this when fighting Gin himself - "I can feel the intention of killing me when Im fighting people from their zanpakutou, but fighting you I feel nothing from you, what is it that you want?" or something in those words. not precisely.

Itachi was the first man in anime who pretended to be evil.

he was also smart enough to be one of very few characters in any anime/manga to lie about their abilities, in bleach there is only gin and aizen, but aizen reveilled it early and reveiled it to his allies, gin reveiled it to no one until the moment he used it on aizen.

Gin would have defeated Aizen all by himself if he had not used the cheatcode "Hogyoku" (don't know how to spell it) that made him immortal. Who could have survived to a hole that big in the chest without cheating ?
