Gin is litterally better captain than the most. He comes after the old big for : Yama, Shinsui, Ukitake, Unohana and also after the goats : Aizen, Urahara, Kenpachi.
Several things I disagree with. -tsukishima: he doesn't create a new past. He literally inserts himself into a past. He can take the place of whoever he likes. but he doesn't gain their qualities. He can gain knowledge from experience, but he didn't gain the kindness of orihimes older brother, nor would he gain the power to beat aizen. -byakuya didnt cut yammys leg. Zaraki did. In the manga panel, we see yammy look in the opposite direction of where his leg was cut, from where the kido was fired(the kido was obviously being fired by byakuya). And when we cut to zaraki, zaraki was already at that opposite side if yammy, while byakuya had to flashstep there. So no, byakuya has no scaling to yammy. Even in bankai, he could barely scratched a weakened yamnys face, while zaraki took a chunkbout of his shoulder. Byakuyas kido did nothing to yammy. There's 0 reason to believe his base sword could. -byakuya did struggle with zommari base to base and only beat zommari due to a direct counter in abilities. Apply shikai and bankai, and byakuya in this arc wouldn't even make it past noitorra. Ordinarily u wouldn't be able to scale shikai this way because it's just an extra ability, not a multiplier, but in byakuyas case, his shikai is literally a severely nerfed version of his bankai. That's it. - byakuya and renjis training post arrancar arc. They said they're training TO beat aizen, not that they actually reached that lvl. If characters like renji can achieve aizen lvl power in just 2 years, you'd expect senior captains who r much older than aizen to be severely more powerful than him, even in the fkt arc, but they aren't. Training to beat aizen=/=beating aizen. -and that's just base aizen. The lore is literally that it's impossible to ascend to where aizen got to without crossing the boundaries of other races. -one thing u can take from as nodts battle is that byakuya jumped straight to bankai, meaning by that time, base as nodt would've beaten shikai byakuya. Add vollstanding and as nodt would've come out on top regardless of whether byakuya had his bankai stolen or not. -other sources suggests that mental nerfs were the main reason ichigo couldn't do anything to gin at all -its implied that aizen had suppressed hus rieatsu vs gin because tatsuki could sense butterfly aizen, whereas ishiin couldn't sense chrysalis aizen. For the vs battles: the databooks aren't covering potential. Otherwise, neither zaraki or toshiro would have larger than 50 on ANYTHING, as toshiro is still young and zaraki had more than 90% of his power suppressed away. The stats aren't wrong, but simply don't cover everything needed for battle. Example: attack speed hax spiritual pressure, etc. So take databooks or not, gin still clears up to his death for 2 reasons. 1. Gin being around the same age as byakuya, is tge one considered a prodigy. His skills would need to be vastly superior to byakuyas if thus we're the case. - the og reason aizen allowed gin as a subordinate in the 1st place is because of his skill. Even if aizen figured gin out sometimes later, aizen taking interest in gín skill wouldnt be possible if gin could lose to someone weaker than noitorra. So up to his death, I have gin winning, mid diff at most. Byakuya post rg training has insane stats so I have him winning over gin.
tsukushima beat butterfly aizen in his past imagination when he can only gain knowledge but not power (LOL). so byakuya beats aizen too xD. gin stomp most of captain even in tbyw arc. mostly because most captains and sternritter wont hold a candle to 1st form aizen.
Well it isn't his imagination, and it is more than just gaining knowledge as we see it physically affects the present. Especially in the case with Yhwach. But I can see your point about Gin stomping most individuals. If you'd like to join the server and discuss you're more than welcome to 😁
@jstVybz lol they are my two most favorite bleach characters for one. And stat wise they both have the ability to one shot eachother. It's a matter of who shoots 1st.
