I am 42 and I could literally overdose on nostalgia. The 90's was the last decade where there was still an innocence to life. They had the best movies, tv, and music. I sometimes sit and just close my eyes and go back to this time on my mind...just immersing myself in all the memories. I cry a lot just yearning for those days that I can never get back. The world is such a 💩show today and I just wish I could be a kid again. Just wanting to relive all those precious times 😢. I thank God for RU-vid...one of the only online platforms I really look at. Long live the 90's !!!! 👍👍👍💜💜💜
@@Scorpious187 You are SO right! I had this whole album. Ya know back when we actually bought whole albums ☺️. I used to swim and dance by the pool with my best friend to this album. The whole thing was just happy dance music. The music today is TERRIBLE 🤮💩. I know every generation thinks theirs was the best. But the 90's was the last decade before the whole technology thing really started taking off and clouding everything. We lived without social media and widespread phone usage and we survived. And when was the last time you heard someone say they hated the 90's. Very rare 😛
I was extremely fortunate to have lived & experienced the 90s, the last decade to ever create everything awesome & the world made sense! God bless the 90s & when I die I hope to relive the 90s all over again up in Heaven! ❤
@@SourceAwareness Yeh whatever..you word nazi dope. Disco, dance etc. It's all still music regardless. And it's still the hill I will die on. Now kindly f**k off and stop breaking my balls with your petty bullshit. 🙄🤡
I am also 48 and two weeks ago my brother and my sister in law came back to my house after a night out. My brother was humming this tune and I was like: “Who in the fk sang that song”? Took a bit but I put in “1990’s Song Ohh…Ohhh little bit” and Gina G was the result. I remember having the single on cassette, never bought the whole album. I remember how uplifting this song was, still is, not singing, but dancing my shoulders on those 4 hour car rides from college to home and back. Before two weeks ago, I hadn’t heard this song in 20 years
1996. 19 years old living and loving my best life doing the rounds at the club scene. This song pumping through 6x9’s and a subwoofer and just being free. Fast forward 2024 and I often look back and remind myself that I lived through an amazing decade where the music was just awesome.
You have _no idea_ how hard it is to find this song...and how many *adult films you find* .... when all you can remember is "Ooh, Ahh; a little bit more!"
Reminds me of the time I searched for the movie "Babe 2" on a torrent site. Let me tell you, there was about 10 pages of porn before the actual movie...
One of my favorite songs from the early 1990's as a young sailor dancing in the night clubs in San Diego and San Francisco without fear of being mugged/robbed in the night after a night out.
Who would've thought that rappers and foul pop "artists" would have taken a completely different direction. I hate music today so much. Everything with a good message that manages to gain popularity nowadays comes from other countries. It's sad.
55 years old . still love this tune somewhere in the universe , there is a video of moi dancing around a pole in the feathers pub in basingstoke england !
Why can’t we go back to the 90s when life was so much simpler, the music was great and ppl were ppl- not monsters. Today humanity has lost its...humanity.
I didn't experience the 90s, i'm 15 right now. But i absolutely hate todays music, i only listen to 80s, 90s and 00s music, sometimes even 70s, but out of all, eurodance is my favourite genre at the moment. I wish i experienced 90s and early 00s. Also at the time im writing this its the new year, so happy new year 2024 to you all who reads this!!
You gotta keep searching. I'm constantly finding new & unknown bands that are as awesome as the 80s. I grew up in the 80s, hated the 90s & now thanks to RU-vid I'm finding more new awesome music than I can keep up with. If you find 1 you like there will be tons of similar artists on the right side. It's like a chain or a row of dominos.
Gosh, this takes me back to my 20's and going clubbing on Friday & Saturday nights. Oh, how time flies! I'm just shy of 50 years old, and I can't help but go back to simpler times whenever I listen to these songs from back in my youth. Good times.
I never thought about the meaning of this song back then. Now I'm like, what the hell is she singing about, it sounds very naughty. :D Good song nonetheless.
I can so relate to that.We thought that the times would never end.If i could go back i would the 1990`s it was so awesome!!!A great time to be alive!!!
Remember this song coming out in 96 as I was growing up back then in the 90s was 8 when this song popped out into the world and TOTPs now I'm 34, nearly 35 and it's still such an absolute wicked tune ❤😍😍
love this song. should have won Eurovision. but did go on to become the biggest worldwide selling Eurovision song of all time. number 1 in the uk and a huge hit around the world including becoming a hit in the usa (it reached number 12 in the billboard hot 100) which is rare for a Eurovision entry-it was even nominated for a Grammy.
This song is the reason we have public votes at Eurovision. Judges gave it bad scores but then it became a global smash hit. The next year they added public voting.
Video Director: "OK, what do we have to work with?" Budget Director: "Ummm . . . a long, dark hallway, some Christmas lights, Gina G and her girlfriends, and a couple of dudes we picked up waiting in line outside the club." Video Director: "Can we get one of the guys a fedora?" Budget Director: "I think my grandfather has one in his closet . . . " Video Director: "Perfect . . . "

+martythetickler Yeak but nothing before and after will never shadow the 80s. Rock, rap and Rand B all together were at a neutral level of character, understanding and meaning..
In 1997 I was a junior in high school and I was flipping through the TV channels one day and saw this video. Then that same week I went to the CD store, (back when they use to have CD stores) and I bought the CD single and her full album. The album I've had to replace many times from over playing it, and I still have the CD single of this song. It doesn't play very well anymore but I still love all of the different dance remixes.
I can remember this song so well because I was DJing in 96 and wherever I was DJing at the time this was always a floor filler!! Ahh such happy and fun memories
31 and SO reminiscent from memories Ive only just unlocked. Glad its not just me who thinks the 90s were innocent. I think the internet killed living in the moment
I just turned 72. Still love this tune. It got me out on the dance floor at 47. Still does when I go out to a club with my friends if they DJ isn't to young to know good club music. Yes I still no how to have fun with these children who think they know good dance tunes.
I loved Motiv8‘s singles in the 90s, so when I heard they were writing a song for Eurovision I new it was going to legendary! They didn’t disappoint One of my favourite songs from the 90s 💛
I got this melody stuck in my head for at least ten years by now and couldn't remember who sang it! I even sequenced the intro synth part in a MIDI sequencer. So I pulled out Shazam and tried identifying, of course it hit many other songs. I had to go through several keys and tempos until Shazam finally recognized the song.
@@shototodoroki4698 Też lubię posłuchać tej piosenki mimo lat. Też młody już nie jestem ale polecam ja wszystkim niezależnie od wieku. Każdemu w duszy coś gra. Pozdrawiam.
I see you made this comment 4 years ago and I agree with you four years latter. This is is the kinda song that get in your head and lives rent free for weeks on end😂
This is the utter most epic simple melodies that opens me up like the sun on a shiny day, to existence and life, praise be to you and all that is everyone and all that contributes to this being
Born in the noughties, only discovered this song about 2 years ago. Despite both of those things, this still makes me ridiculously nostalgic for the 90s.
I think the last time I heard this song I must’ve been ten years old and I’m 34 today. Yesterday I heard it in an ITSUGAR and a core memory unlocked. Thank you Shazam for identifying it for me, I’m at my childhood best friend’s pool again in my mind ❤️
Memories I️ miss these days of being in junior high and listening to these songs on the radio! Seriously we are lucky we had some of the best music in the 90’s!
