Responsible mining. i think that is what she is campaigning. if all mining companies adheres to mining rules i think there would not have talks like this. but sadly some corporations are not following rules which causes the lives of many people surrounding the mining area.yes mining can give you food, shelter and jobs.but think what will be the future if these "irreponsible" companies mined everything around you?where would it take all of us?we only have one earth.we will all die but what of the next generation?im happy there theres some people like gina who stands up against these. We want to be sustainable as much as possible.calamites strike very hard and would they pay for the lives of people who will die bcoz of landslides, mud flood?if yes well and good but as far as i can see some dont and would only account it aginst natural calamities.but if you are going to "dig" deep the cause is lack of trees to hold the soil.displaced mining. i was in Palawan and witnessed the nickle mines spewing reddish run off down the mountain side.. i was appalled... vast tracs forest leveled..

first of all nabubuhay tayo dahil sa pagkain na galing sa ating kapaligiran at hindi sa mining.. pero kng sa palagay mo mabubuhay ka sa tulong ng mining product, cge kumain ka ng cellphone, kotse, gold and etc.. prove it to us.
