I seriously second-guessed myself about it being Popeyes because they didn't give her a liter of water to make it swallowable. All I knew for sure was that it wasn't a Bojangles biscuit!

I love Ginger so much. One of the funniest queens to ever be catapulted out of the Drag Race franchise. OK, yes, yes. It would have to be a HUGE canon but whatever.
Not being a hater, but I've watched her season several times....the only thing Violet did well was wear clothes. And we all know that the show is completely rigged, they pander to the younger viewers. Don't they realize that we older folks have way more disposable income to spend supporting our gals? Ginger is going to outlast many. She will be winning a Tony award someday.
@@martha-anastasiaTo be fair, Violet still has surprisingly lasted even up until now. For just a "look queen," she's managed to stay relevant after so many years. And wearing clothes is still a pretty vital part of drag, or at least the show. :)
Ginger is a great example of talent, wit and drag excellence being tossed aside by the younger fandom in favor of young drag queens that they "relate" more to (because they view Drag Race as a reality show, and not a show about the art of drag)
Drag Race *is* a reality show, and the best queen doesn't always win. But the older queens just know it's a great platform to showcase your art, and your fan base will grow if people like what you do. Some queens who didn't win are incredibly talented and are crushing it in their careers. Best not to take Drag Race too seriously.
I'm pretty sure Ginger was anticipated to win season 7 by the fandom and Ru chose Violet. In All Stars 6 Ginger lost to Kylie Sonique who is older than her lol
