Ginger is certainly the best part of this movie. The sexism is rather thick. My favorite part is how Mildred carries slippers in her purse and changes into them when she stretches out on the therapy couch. Plus, it is Ginger in color.
I totally agree. I am really bothered with the sexism in Lady in the Dark. Ray should have ended up on the floor not Ginger. I do like how Ginger and David play their parts in a perfunctory manner as Ginger blathers on. Yes, Ginger is lovely in color. The films where Ginger is not the main focus, I only watch the parts she is in.
