I must admit, until covid 19 got me home quarantined and watching old westerns, I had never heard/see Richard Eastham, but thanks to "Tombstone Territory" I've become a real fan of his. What a presence he has on screen.
What a pleasure to see Richard Eastham, who made the series Tombstone Territory by his excellent acting. As for Ginger Rodgers, one of the great stars from the Golden Age of Entertainment, who could sing, act and dance better than most could do either, she was a Triple Threat, one of the best, and a model, too.
This episode was set in the year 1882. By that time, the Western Plains Indians had all been subdued and confined ( imprisoned ) on reservations. Their vast, open hunting grounds were confiscated and thrown open to white settlement. The buffalo, on which they had been so dependent upon for their survival, was almost extinct. It was a time of violent and brutal change .
Either they cut a lot out or they needed a longer format for this episode because it was too disjointed and moved too quickly, though the ending was a hoot.
