Hhaha I know, this looks like the high school drama club, despite the acting being on point. It mostly has to do with camera angles, we rarely see full body shots in dialogue scenes like this, it mostly focuses on the upper body. Sound quality and sound design make a huge difference as well :)
I think it’s cuz they were trying to maneuver around the couch and it was at an static angle so it was less intense and we could see all their maneuvering
Damn how do they act properly with all those people there? doesn’t it make them break character bc the behind the scenes ppl r like their reminder they’re just acting
See what Marcus said was lowkey true , I understood what Max was saying ... how can her bestfriend not tell her anything but at the end of the day she can’t control who Ginny dates they made her date hunter ( giving her false hope that he was the one ) when in reality she wanted Marcus ... and Marcus deserves to be happy ( but Ginny got on my nerves Bc she treats her mom so bad )
The one thing I miss about being an actor (4 years of theatre in High School): being able to, for a few moments at a time, be someone different. No homework, no social troubles, no usual problems. You can be anyone. The jerk, the goof, the old wise man, the kind priest. And no one judges you for it, because you might be the only person in that building that can do that one thing (especially if there’s no understudy), and you’ve practiced hard enough to be able to confidently do it without many or any problems.
Guys this is them rehearsing. The crew guy is marking their positions on the floor so they know where they're supposed to step when filming so that they're in shot
