These are the most gorgeous fabrics I’ve seen in years. I love the low-contrast florals and other nature-inspired motifs, the wave and soft stripe geometrics, and the shantungs used in the suiting. A really lovely collection of real, original garments, instead of boring recycled athletic pieces like joggers and hoodies, we’ve had more than enough of those this last year. I also love the soft, relaxed yet fresh, “watery” color palette. This is my favorite collection this season.

A quiet statement celebrating style during the 20's and the 80's-'futura'. Comfortable, decadent and cool, floating nonchalant neutrals, innocent pastels, rich textures, exaggerated shoulders, over-sized earrings, elegant, sleek- do you feel the faces and movements of these inspiring models emanate a sense of peaceful well-being? and good-will?- evidence of a shift, as fashion reflects and influences society. Now, if I could only find my other shoe!

As with ALL designers in their work - the fabrics are stunningly gorgeous. So far, early in this show, designs are elegant, and "all business". Modern, urban music to match. Just had to say - Young man at ~ 1:50 is beyond handsome - I could look all day... Many designers do not have many men mixed in with young women - designers have separate shows for the menswear, but, so many very handsome, and interesting men! As usual, models are stunning, and in almost any fashion show, but particularly sophisticated and urban in this Armani line up! Have to continue to watch, to see what comes... so far, no mind blowing color juxtapositions, extreme fabric manipulations, or extravagant bead work, etc. Nice handbags, necklaces, and other accessories of unusual forms.

The lights and background colors are having a huge effect on the colors the computer displays. It is off-putting because I can't be sure of what the colors really are. In terms of style and texture of the fabrics, they look exquisite. I wish I could see this collection in natural light. The lines and designs are fabulous.
