. . . Sabrina , ' 13 years ago ' ?.. this was recorded at The Royal Albert Hall in London in late May '89 ... just passed 33 years ago - I know , just ' w h e r e ' does it disappear to ?.. I saw them in Manchester at The Apollo in September '90 - beyond words to attempt to describe .
I hadn"t seen them playing Alegria, yet. I love it!!! How wonderful is Tonino Baliardo's way of playing that magic guitar! I also thank for this presentation!!
@avisval So do I!!! It's impossible not to react this way to their music!!! I specially love Allegria; this is the best song of the group. It's so beautiful that sometimes is too much for my heart!
Nothing everthing good in this world has to go through Americanization. If this was simply "Americanized Spanish pop" then how come I don't see any bands in America who can play as good as this?
@SomdeReggae My statement was made in response to someone who thinks the King's music is nothing more than Americanized Spanish pop. If you've looked at the context of what I've said you wouldn't think I was States-bashing. I stand by my comment that no band in the States could play like the King's simply for the fact that this isn't the kind of music originated from or most popular in the US. This is not to say there aren't no good music from the US. Get it bro?
