*If* some of the extinct ones were still around, *would* ride giraffokeryx, palaeotragus, shansitherium, honanotherium, and mitilanotherium. *If* it was possible, *would* ride the okapi, and northern giraffe, as well as the giraffe *not* on this list, the reticulated giraffe. How could you leave that out, or is that and the northern one the same? Too bad there are no prehistoric or modern giraffe as tall as the samotherium shaped like modern giraffe. Wait, young giraffe of certain age can look like that, as evident by photos of people riding relatively small giraffe, as well as video of a woman riding a young giraffe in circus as well.
