I like origin form better because I grew up with platinum. The set up to fighting him, seeing him fly around in the background, and the distortion world, it just seems a lot better than finding it in a temple
This is a pretty tough pick. :/ | I've only played Diamond & Pearl (mostly Diamond) and sticked with Giratina a lot. I do, however, like Origin's design a lot more - it looks a lot more fierce (and a lot more fitting of "The Renegade Pokémon" imo). Altered's turtle-esc beak kinda makes it look like it's smiling. P.s. Who else saw the Marowak Kanto vs Alola Pokémon Form Fight before it was removed? Though I do personally prefer Kanto Marowak for mostly the same reason Liam does, I'm really glad that Marowak finally got the Ghost typing and I really like its design. :)
I've always preferred altered giratina. My one has the best stats it can have, except speed. Anyway, I love the shiny, it looks amazing and much more... Beautiful.
Back when they were introduced as sprites I preferred Origin form with looks, but after they changed to 3D models Altered Form just looks better. At least in my opinion. The only thing I find weird about it is the spikes on the wings. But as it has been said already. Altered form looks more stable and stronger. Like that is how it was supposed to be. That the Origin Form is a weakened form after all the time it has spent in the Distortion World.
AndrosLeFay I like origin form more as that was the first form it had. Like it change form in our world cuz our tiny minds can’t comprehend that form so it changed to something we know. That how I saw it lol
I always looked at origin as a more loose and unbound form of giratina, since it's the 'origin' forme. It looked like an actual renegade pokemon, and just the way it seemed to dangerously slither about made me love it far more than altered, even though altered looks awesome too. I also looked at altered as a forced forme of giratina, as if arceus altered it's forme so it wouldn't scar any humans mentally. That is kinda stupid now that I think about it, considering a 10 year old seems to be able to stand in front of it easily without flinching.
Giratina Altered is one of my favourite legendaries, dragons, and ghosts. It uses its six little nubs to expertly walk the line between cool as hell and goofy as shit - which is my favourite monster aesthetic. I also have a special memory of it. I caught Giratina Altered in Diamond. I went into that fight with 99 of just about every type of pokeball. And after 30 minutes I finally caught in a normal pokeball. I only had 2 normal pokeballs left after that one and nothing else. Plus Giratina Origin feels like a paint-by-numbers, cool edge-lord monster and I find that boring.
@@CheesyCore so wrong, I know I'm late but he uses hacks to have giratina appear and stay in origin form the adamant orb strengthens dragon and ghost moves by I believe 30% which is a big difference since both of those are very effective
I like the origin forme of Giratina, because it has a unique dragon that literally looks like a snake. Something that was pretty cool at the time. Also it has an awesome mouth plate thing.
I like Altered Form more since it resembles more of a dinosaur likr the other members of the Creation Trio (Dialga being a Sauropod and Palkia being a Bipedal Oviraptor-like being) while still having some cool design aspects that appeal to me more than the Origin Form I appreciate the head more and how it looks more robust and tanky compared to the Origin Form

LOVE the metronome battles and your commentary is perfect for it. You should do this for things like starter pokemon along element lines(fire vs fire, leaf vs leaf, water vs water) or things like gen starter birds vs other gen starter birds.
Wow, this is a tough one cos I love both Formes equally: Altered Forme because it looks so sturdy and ominous, almost like some sort of Demonic Dragon Gate Guardian creature and Origin Forme because ... come on look at the guy he's so streamlined and those 'spider wings' are so creepy and cool in equal measures! I prefer Giratina Origin form. I like that it retains its massive HP stat and still has above average defenses, while having very good offenses. Also, i think Origin form just looks a lot more sleek and deadly, which is just how i like my ghost dragons from Hell. & having the Griseous Orb gives bonus damage to its great stab attacks so thats an added plus :) even more power!
I like orgin form because it has a very interesting look. I like the ability. And its stats is what I want in a pokemon so that they can survive and do good damage
Shawn McMillan well giratina is my favorite pokemon because it just looks badass period honestly there will be no pokemon like this truly is my favorite pokemon.

mainly i like altered, it feels like more of a pokémon to me and looks appealing and that is why giratina altered is one of my favorites, it just looks good with the insect like legs
I can see why you would prefer the Altered Form, Liam. Personally, I do belong in the majority that likes the Origin Form better. As a Ghost/Dragon dual type, I just think the Origin Form complements Giratina more with its sleek shape and spindly wings. But everyone has their own opinion, and you are more than entitled to yours. What an awesome battle! My favorite form of Giratina is it's origin form because I think it's often overshadowed by the Altered Form also I like that it has a higher attack stat and I belive thats what helped them win during this battle.
As the video has been up a while I have still seen comments talking about the same thing. Yes there was an error with the uploads but who cares Liam is only human.
I like the altered form better because it looks more badass also when I was little I was terrified of Giratina's cry I never knew what it was I thought it was people screaming thinking its the end of the world till I realised when I was a bit older it was its cry
giratina is my favorite version mascot, and part of the reason is that i love its origin forme. i believe it should’ve been giratina’s only form bcos it’s more badass
