Speed eating has tricks. For example, taking a small bite to make sure that you can swallow every bite you take. Since you can swallow every bite you've taken, your speed is most likely faster than the people who take a big bite and chew many times to swallow.

😜Speed eaters do not chew. They just swallow every bite they take. So, most of the time, they don't take a large bite unless they are sure they can swallow it (may be with some help of water). They also practice in swallow, trying to swallow larger and larger chunks of the food.
