I'm like Adrienne. I feel through my emotions but when I'm really going through something I can't talk about it to people. Once I'm on the other side then I'll open up. I don't need someone to give me their two cents when they aren't going through what I am. Being comfortable alone and knowing how to heal yourself is def a positive trait to me

I never had breakup blues. Usually by the time we breakup I have been crying about the dying relationship for some time. The breakup is the last thing ...like a confirmation of my sad thoughts.

You can always tell when Loni makes up stories, just the way she says her words is very different from when she's telling a real story. It almost doesn't flow naturally because it's like she's thinking of what she saying as she saying it. LOL I still love her though.

It’s best to go through breakups by yourself because most people don’t understand and people get tired of hearing people cry and complain but it feels good to vent when you’re hurt & it makes you feel better sometimes

I have to disagree with Adrienne on grieving over a loss and going on social media. don't EVER let anyone tell u what's the right or wrong way to mourn someone passing, we all hurt differently and that's ok! I personally went on social media to distract myself a bit from a loved one's death, it didn't mean I was hurting any less though...

I'm sorry guys , I needed to vent. I was left alone too long. I decided that ppl do care but family gets tired of the sulking, mine does, so when your alone. Your alone because their trying to cope. I cope by thinking goal oriented and learning about self. Never been alone ever. So now I'm learning. God's my best friend. Thank for your positive msg's and deep concern. This has been crazy. But hopefully it's almost over and Covid families and everyone your always in my prayers. God bless, stay safe, and healthy.

Actually, to some people, breaks are very much like deaths and scientific studies have shown that our bodies feel and respond the same with both losses. People are just more understanding and empathize one more than the other

I have the tendency to eavesdrop when I see two people whispering, purposely trying to be discreet and have a quiet conversation together. It irks me because I genuinely want to know if the conversation is about me or if I need to grab a bowl of popcorn.

I like to be coddled. The more I'm coddled, the faster I bounce back. In fact, studies show that if you pick up babies when they cry, the quicker they realize that their crying means something to you, and they feel loved and validated, and they stop crying.

I feel like people use social media to vent sometimes because that’s the only way to get it out. Not everyone deal with things a certain way. Some people need someone to talk or else they might fall into depression. Some people post on Snapchat just to get it out of their system it’s not that they want attention but it’s just an outlet. Not everyone has a friend to talk to about it when they want to let it out and not everyone can put themselves back together on their own; yes, people need to learn how do that for themselves but at the moment the only thing you can think about is getting it off your chest.

I was studying in the lounge outside my math class and someone behind me was talking to his acquaintance so loudly say he needs friends from his old school so I turned around and offer my friendship! I said, "I'm not from your school but I'd be your friend!" Then he replied very rude, "Um no we can't be friend, stop talking to me!" I replied snarky, "All I'm doing is offering a friendship, **which you ask** you don't have so be rude!" He then quickly stopped acting up!

I did. I live in New York but I moved there about 4 years ago. when I first got here I was completely shocked by the conversations that people have in public without a care. Sitting on a bench or in a restaurant I have heard the juciest conversations. I learned to mind my business after I said " oh my god" once when I heard a girl all lovey dovy on the phone and then she got off the phone with the guy and 2 minutes later she answered a call with his wife saying that he was meeting her at her house tonight thinking they was gonna have sex. They were setting him up. When I said oh my God she turned around and yelled "mind yo f'in business" to me and then just starred at me. I was so embarrassed. After that I stopped reacting to peoples conversations.

I remember being dumped my boyfriend of 4 years (he high through part of high school) it took me about 3 weeks to get myself together and move on. I got another boyfriend (who was a friend during part of the relationship) and now we are going on our 10 year wedding anniversary. He didn't approach me but he was there when I needed each time. 😁😁

I've never been able to eavesdrop on peoples conversations because i get distracted easily. I would try concentrating on a conversation then something happens no matter how small like the sun reflecting off a silver knife or as big as a car chase outside my street. My attention is gone and i envy those who can sit there and be able to hear everything 😂😂😂🤦🏽‍♀️

Yes Adrienne I do think its just you. Everyone has their own little way of coping. Some people try to distract themselves and do things like posting on the gram and whatever. Everyone handles stress differently.
