The man in the blue shirt and hat with the Mandolin toured with Dailey and Vincent , I know he touring on his own. The name is Jeff Parker something like that. Man I hate getting old, the memory is slipping.

Great song!! WV is our home, born and raised so we appreciate any good clean song about WV. Us hillbillies have always been downtrodden by society but we're here to tell you it doesn't bother us. Especially us Christians. Great song, thank you and God bless y'all in Jesus Christ.

Another West Virginian chiming in: I love this song and this rendition. I'm a huge fan of this group - hoping to see them one day. But I think the line is funny that says "I like the sound of the coal trucks". No one I know likes the sound of coal trucks. They symbolize a great industry for the state, but they're very big and many times on the smaller back roads they take up way more than their share. They can't help it, but passing one isn't that much fun - as some times I'm forced off the road. But as the saying goes "Coal is West Virginia". You get the good and the bad alike.
