There aren't real pearls. Orange pearls aren't found in the wild like this, they'd be dyed first then put into the mollusc and then sealed with glue for us to be entertained. Black peacock Tahiti'ian pearls are the most expensive. Mikimoto pearls of any colour are very pricy partly because they use only the finest Akoya pearls within their own system of Japanese pearl farms but the Tahiti'ian peacock to black are the most prized.
