What I love about this movie is the dinner scene, the spinning table, that wasn’t CGI. They literally spun the table.

I watched that movie. It was good and yes, Ethan and Lena's beautiful yet sad romance is way better than the whole Twilight franchise. I recognized Jeremy Irons and Emma Thompson were also there as well. I was shocked that the spinning table on the Dinner scene was not CGI but literally spin the table in reality.

There are so many things I like about this movie. Emmy is so good in her role, I love it. Her scenes are iconic. Sorry to compare, but I love its differences to Twilight, because the general concept is similar. Star cross supernatural lovers. But I like how the gender roles are reversed and both characters are far more interesting and useful in the overall plot lol

I loved this movie when I came across it. Had no clue it was based on a book. But those who read the book, hated the movie. There were a lot of mentions of how they butchered many parts and changed a lot of things which ended up ruining some crucial parts of the book and messed up the story.
