She found a scorpion in a pit she was digging around @1:00 and instead of killing it like many people would, she took the time to help it out of the pit and on it's merry way. This kind of respect for life while also showing very useful skills/demos for these makes this and channels like it great. Insta-subscribed.
I just watched a video where she cut a tree to collect its sap, and when she had what she needed she took the time to patch the tree up with mud or something. Amazing.
I hope whoever is running this channel is paying these people appropriately. And I mean HANDSOMELY! This channel is attached to many other channels that do this same kind of stuff. I read an article one time where someone tried to figure out what was truly going on and they couldn't. I want to know who owns the channel. It's certainly not this girl or any of these people who build all of these beautiful things. We should be asking more questions. Do these people even know how much money these videos generate for whoever owns this channel? I guarantee you they don't. I love these channels and I just don't want them to be taken advantage of. It's great if they are truly being taking care of for their crazy hard work. I've voiced my concern about this before but my comments are constantly deleted.
With your comments being deleted, I'm sure your theory is correct! What gets me is, that when she digs real hard I watch her face for a grimace , and never see one. The work is like nothing to them! She can come to my house and straighten everything up, and I'm sure I would be paying her better than the owners of this channel. I'm sure they work this hard to get money for their family to survive.
@@Jenny1954 I truly pray they are not being exploited. There's channels EXACTLY like this and they are all excited exactly same. Jungle survival is one of the other channels.
I’ve wondered the same and have seen the other channels. Nobody owning the channels ever replies to the questions but I’ve noticed more people starting to ask.
They are all owned by parent companies that just churn out content. Many of them even flip the videos the other direction to put them on another channel for views.
This is amazing, but I have so many questions. Questions like: How long did this take? How do you keep insects from breeding in the water? How do you keep the last tank from overflowing?
She not only has a working homestead, she put in extra effort to make it beautiful as well. Not every step she took was necessary for it to function sufficiently, she took much pride in her work to make it "Art" And for those of you who are survivalists, this is a GREAT example of a functioning organic water filtration system for a larger homestead!
I am beyond inspired and impressed watching this young woman work so hard and so competently. I don't know how her hands hold up to the constant work. She is clearly in amazing shape!
I'd have a guess that it's many days to make this 15 minute video ... but it's worth the wait to see the incredible results. Can't believe the " tuimbs down " given to her. A talented genius at work. Bushyboy Oz.
@@ewengillies9826 The thumbs down are from people who realize this whole channel is THEATER. It is FAKE. There is a team of a dozen people making this, and it is not made the way they pretend. The point is to WOW YOU, so you'll view, share, and like == $$$ for them
@@bosslady1914 exactly. but part of me thinks if people are silly enough to believe the videos are real and there arent machines and extra humans helping the build in-between these huge jump cuts then they deserve the money? i saw one video where she pounded like 12 leaves and out of the bottle came bright green paint... i looked around for comments to see if anyone pointed out how fake this is and i saw no comments. so maybe the person maintaining the channel deletes it?
Its fake. She has helpers and they use tools. This is just done to look good on youtube, so they make money. Filtering water doesnt even make sense there, just collect rain water, thats way easier and even cleaner
what?? do you have any proof/ what’s her name? normally i wouldn’t care or ask but a lot of people in the comments seem to be worried for her safety or that she’s being exploited so it would be lovely if you were able to clear that up and it’s all a misunderstanding
Really? My guess would have been anthropology. Watching her reminds me of watching various living history anthropologists and docents and how comfortable they become doing tasks that most of us would struggle with, if we could do them at all.
Amazing!! I love to watch her videos. She is very inspirational. She shows that if you put your mind , strength & heart into it.. you can accomplish anything if you try. OUTSTANDING 💕🌹
I say that her father and mother have done a great job, the skills you have passed on to her are thousands of years old its good to see they will not be lost. Please teach as many kids as you can it will make the world a best place. Thank you.
It seems her projects are selected to match her particular skill set. When completed the project’s declarations are second to none. Interior and exterior. Her use of plants and flowers makes her projects stand out much more than most. It’s a joy to observe her use of the Saw, Hammer and Nails to solidify every structure. Patiently anticipating the next building project!!
I used to inspect construction and had to wear hard hats, proper footwear and I always wore a mask. She is barefoot and makes masterpieces with rudimentary tools and care hands. Amazing!
@@Fritzy1587 ding ding ding, we have a winner! A hunter doesn't like the young go because they are kind, they are waiting for bigger harvests. It's why you are not supposed to catch certain aquatic species that are about to give birth, you want them to hatch/birth all those little ones so that the population doesn't get destroyed because you just killed and ate a fish that was about to spawn a hundred babies.
Whether it's real o or not real o, these types of video shows that everything we need to live a peaceful quality life has been provided by God Almighty. We just need to tap into them and cultivate our resources.😊😍
I have watched video's of people building huts in the Canadian forest using all kinds of modern tools. This lady, with or without help, showed us something very special. Much respect and thank you for sharing. (Holland-EU)
I really want to see her do something i have never seen before. I wanna see her make a shower! I just think it would be so cool to see because she makes everything so beautifully.
I love that the stuff she builds is practical and could be lived in. She should start her own jungle bed and breakfast with these beautiful structures.
I love the fact that she is adding to her home instead of just continuously building new pools or homes. I wonder if they have people living in these full time.
They fill them back in. All these channels are fake. They use tools and backhoes and edit them out to make it look like it is built by one person. Friends and I have built some things as teens and this would have been a month of work WITH shovels and picks. Just her pavers would have been almost 1 ton of cement and since she was making 2 at a time just the time to dry them would have taken almost 2 weeks.
@@excitedbox5705 If you watch the whole series... some of them have time frames in them. One project took 150 days. Just because it moves between the task fast, to fit them into a short video, doesnt mean that it isn’t taking a long time.
She's even nice to the scorpion, I love this woman! I wonder where this is--Thailand, Cambodia? Just wanting to know how warm it stays year round here.
Nice to a Scorpion? I really doubt it. These people are true Omnivores. The eat anything and everything! I'm sure that, off set, the scorpion was grilled as a tasty snack!
@@Jenny1954 While possibly true- don't fall for the concept that she's actually off grid. She's very clearly an artisan that they have hired to make this stuff. These videos are rarely made and edited by the people in them
@@BelindaShort I never inferred that at all! She is just a worker bee, with more Modern equipment. And certainly NOT working off the grid. Using a rod and reel to fish, and not catching anything. The other women use more primitive fishing skills and catch more than enough fish every time. Oh and using nails and a hammer is hardly living off the grid.
@@Jenny1954 Living off the grid means that you're not connected to facilities that give you access to water, electricity or gaz. Some tools might not be primitive, but it doesn't affect the fact that she's off the grid.
Was she an architectural and mechanical engineer before these clips. Outstanding, creative, persistent, determined and focused. You make me proud to be a woman.
@@michaeluniquehartman4958 have you ever though about real builder building actual houses. They do more in one year than she has ever had in her entire life
I am liking these a lot better than the guy randomly building stuff. She is creating a beautiful home for herself and showing us the many different projects.
i have binge watching this girl and she is really amazing. Just using her hands and feet and a few tools she can build whatever she likes. She is a one man team! Builder, engineer, architect, interior designer, whatever! I wonder how her hands would be probably hard and full of calluses.
Yea lol tell THIS GIRL that😂🤦♀️ she calls herself a girl as I sometimes call myslef "a girl" even though I'm a grown ass WOMAN. Not everyone is obsessed with nouns and pronouns, Karen. 😂🤷♀️🤦♀️Geez, so bossy lol 😆 so easily offended.
@@plantgurugangsta7299 Women shouldn't call themselves 'girls'. Us men need the ability to roll our eyes and exclaim "Women". Saying "girls" just doesn't seem to work 😂😂😁.
Can you imagine how many homeless people without a place to lay their heads she can help..we need her here in the USA..She is considered a contractor, designer all in one in her right.. we all got gifts from God..all by hand no machines no nothing just blood sweat and tears..Thank you God for her gift..❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍
A truly great achievement for the girl to build such home using mainly products from the jungle and building such harmonious structure to live in.. The program is well presented. congratulations.
I am in AWE an mesmerized by the abilities this woman has and visions.. Beauty of simplicity of life and nature. Im envious and Truly amazed! Just amazing 👏
This girls skin is so perfect and clear and I'm sure she doesn't have any of the products my doctor recommends and yet her sink is still so much better
The individuals making comments about this woman being taken advantage of in regards to what the person is making from the videos posting them. I think you're missing the point, as she doesn't need pity as she surely doesn't take pity upon herself. She surely doesn't need money to survive as this young woman is proving that in her videos. She is amazing! Only the tough survive and she is a survivor. I wish I could be so fortunate to have these skills.
her skin is really good for possibly doing this sort of thing on the weekly. toiling in the sun and dirt and mud really doesn't hurt your skin all that much.
I really like watching these presentations ... they have a certain allure ... IOW, "I think maybe I could do that, etc." I know, however, that these 'Primitive Life' presentations are actually full productions.
Girls these days worry about Manicure and Pedicure She is blessed with that beautiful hands to do anything and everything Love watching this beautiful peace of artwork
Yikes 😱!!! That black scorpion was big!! She has nerves of steel to fling it away. I know I'll scream 😱 seeing it by my feet. And these awesome and hardworking men and women should get paid for making theses survival-skill videos in their home country 😀. I love 'em!!
@@twitch1512 Pennsylvania is even worse. You'll be hitting rocks within inches. You can go in, expecting to dig a 12-inch wide post-hole, and end up widening that thing to 4 feet, just to make room to pull out all of the rocks. Not a hand-tool-friendly place to dig.
I want to date this amazing woman! 🥰She exemplifies what it means to build with function and form in mind. Similar to Da Vinci, she is both a highly skilled architect, artist and chef. Truly truly beautiful. Her skill in creating cement really stands out. Those clowns who think building ugly looking brutalist monstrosities and think that's pretty should take some pointers from her. Beautiful. I do hope she properly compensated for her hard work here. 💪 I work in construction myself and know the effort it takes to build something amazing like especially if it is all done by hand. Truly truly impressive!
This makes me question if I'm living the right way, I would love a life like this but the insects are throwing me off, I want to build my own house I have the strength for it but not the knowledge, you need to do it the smart way or else you won't last.
About the insects I understand. But when I slept out in nature once, found that insects for the most part don't care about us and for the ones that do there are remedies. You we are a part of nature... you'd be right at home.
I'm asking in a few places in the hopes of increasing my chances of getting an answer, but does anyone know anything about the termite mound/wood ash plaster that they use in these videos for waterproofing?? As shown in these videos, it appears to be an excellent form of plaster/stucco, with characteristics most contractors could only dream of! (try mixing a Portland cement mix with your feet, and applying it with your hands and see how long you can go before you have no skin left!) However, I can't really find anything about it. Just a few papers looking at termite mounds soil/ant hill soil as an adjunct to cement mixes or for ceramics use, and most of these papers are quite recent and mostly focus on mount soil from Nigeria or other more arid environments. My Filipino girlfriend says that this is fairly common practice in the Philippines, but she was far to young when she moved to Canada to remember any details. It seems it's similar to the basic recipe for wood ash concrete if made from high calcium wood, but regular wood ash concrete is not waterproof, and is not very durable. I expect that the termite clay is effectively pre-screened by the termites, and would be comprised of extremely fine silt, but i can't imagine that those properties alone would be enough to make it impermeable and durable. How durable is it? is it completely impermeable? does it require mound soil from a particular type of termite? or mounds made in a particular type of soil? all I'm working on is informant i could infer from watching these videos, so any information at all would be helpful in directing my search. Cheers!

Wont happen where I live. Rock everywhere you dig. Tried to warn my buddy that hes not going to be able to dig those holes with just post hole diggers. He spent most the day busting rock. Lol

I may have missed it, but how is water getting into that first holding tank? I see her pouring from it into her filtration system, but just curious. Is it purely rain water or does she have a system for water to get into that 1st tank? Regardless, she is amazing!
She was manually filling the top tank from the well she had dug in a prior video. I would guess that she simply stops adding water to the upper tank when the bottom tank is nearly full of the filtered water. A lot of work, and a fascinating example of water filtration that I've only had the opportunity to read about before. Kudos to a very skillful lady as well as anyone else who might be involved with the production of these incredibly informative videos.
