I wanna know how long it took her to cut the tree and debark. I spent two weeks working and a natural shade structure took me a whole days to strip 12 trees by hand. So who cuts and strips these? If it’s her how long does it take her and what methods used. I’m a country girl don’t mind doing this the same tons of hard work and time. But as you see absolutely awesome and unique in the end. @@OssamabinKenny "It’s all fake." The channel is real. The video plays like a real video. The audio quality and syncing is without error. She certainly did swim in that pool. How is all that fake? The point of these builds is not to show you how to build well thought out elaborate structures by yourself, the point is to show you that all you need in order to build a shelter is an ax, a saw, a few nails and whatever tool that is used to strip the bark off the trees. If you take the position that it's all fake, then when you are in a survival situation that requires you to build a shelter, you'll remain inactive because in your mind; it's all fake and you will have less of a chance to survive.

The structures she is building do not meet US code, but that does not mean they are not sound enough to hold the weight she is putting on them. In some jurisdictions, US building codes are designed to stand up to an earthquake. In others a hurricane. Not only did she establish a solid foundation by digging a post hole and then planting the pole and filling the hole, she used 3 to 4 inch nails to fasten those cross beams. Will it last 100 years? Probably not. But it will give her a few years of shelter depending on how long it takes those vertical poles to rot. The time it takes those poles to rot is dependent upon the type of wood those trees are. "The embedded lie is my issue with this content." The lie in your original post is greater than the alleged embedded lie in this video. The only part of these videos that may be misleading is the fact that the cut trees she is using are all dried sufficiently so that sap does not gum up the saw. This however, does not make the entire video fake. It just means that she has enough knowledge and understanding to cut the trees down way ahead of time before building the shelter. In a survival situation, one would cut the trees down, strip them and build with them while they are still green.

Just want to say there's a couple of channels that have men building these. And if you want to see how long it takes to build these just look at how long it takes them to load new videos. But this is her channel. She probably has a team and there is nothing wrong with that. And I hope the people that are saying they are "debunking" know that these videos are sped up and that some scenes are cut out. There is a time limit on some of these videos. But you can't deny this girl does have talent. And do you know some of these videos have more than one part to them. And I do want to point out that common sense will tell some of you that the more simple builds take less time and the more complex builds take longer.

I always find it fascinating what great sleeping places the survival experts get built. I think it's a shame that so few mention the time involved in their videos or video descriptions. I would be really(!) interested to know how long it would take to build such a sleeping place. It is VERY unlikely that I will ever use this knowledge, but if you ever want to build something like this, it would be interesting to know beforehand to be able to calculate the effort.
