I watched this episode when I was walking to catch the bus to work, and I'm telling you when Josh said he liked Maya and that he would play the long game, I was so emerged in the feels I just had to stop watching and save the Rest of the video for later because I wax literally about to faint and I had to sit down. I mean, I ship lucaya and joshaya, but I always knew Josh liked Maya so my support for them was stronger.
I think that people are looking too much into the romantic relationships of this series. The writers always talk about how they don't want it to be exactly like boy meets world, because they want Riley and Maya to have a different story. I think that Maya and Riley are endgame, because their strong friendship will last forever. At the end of this episode, that was hinted, because Riley states that Maya is her, "one great relationship". I love the romance in this show, but all what I really want is for Maya and Riley to stay friends.

what I think some people don't realize on most shows is that the timeline in which the episodes occur aren't dady by day. it's a different time jump in every episode whether it be a month, a week, or even just two days. so for you to say that joshaya doesn't have any chemistry and how can Josh tell Maya how things we're happening if it happened off scenes. just Shawn and Katy. we remember how they decided to go on a date with each other, but we never got to see it happening but in girl meets upstate we saw pictures of Katy and Shawn on dates with each other and stuff. so maybe Josh was around, but the writers just cute those scenes out. for all we know Josh was there when the triangle was going on. plus, I feel like some people don't even try to give joshaya a chance because of the age difference and the fact that most of the time we see Josh, it is him rejecting Maya. that doesn't mean a thing. if you would just take the time to watch an episode and not be bias and watch them when they are together, I think you could see the chemistry they have. like when Josh and Maya are together, and they have a conversation, he never takes his eyes off of her and despite the fact that he rejected her, its only because he felt she was too young. he doesn't want her to miss out on things she should be experiencing in life, he's letting her act her age and grow up more because as much as he likes her, he doesn't want to take from her life because shes already missed out on a lot things in her childhood. I'm not trying to shove this down your throat and you are entitled to your own opinion, but i don't think there's anything wrong with suggesting an open mind.
Well, yeah. I mean he likes Riley a loooot, but love her is another level yet. First they need to really know each other as boyfriend and girlfriend. And then, and just then the real love comes, at least as a couple.
Your reactions to Rucas happening are priceless! Alex's laugh when Lucas said he loves talking to Riley was so funny! My LUCAYA heart was crushed after watching this episode but then my JOSHAYA heart exploded with happiness! I ship maya with either Lucas or Josh, I just don't like Riley with lucas.
i shipp everything, except for joshaya. i don't get it, why do u shipp them? i mean, he never showed interest at her, she forces it and he's always like "no, stop it. i don't like you. we can't be together. just stop it" she deserves more.
But, they do have deep conversations. Maya and Lucas's date was so awkward they barely talked. While, Riley and Lucas actually got to know each other more. Maya always just calls him names or teases him. I like the ship Joshaya has because everytime Josh comes, the way she looks at him is way different than the way she looks at Lucas. I'm kind of not fond on Lucas & Riley's real age difference though 😂
Oh and another thing. When Maya and Josh were talking and Maya was wearing a denim vest and Josh was wearing plaid, Cory and Topanga were wearing the same thing when they were younger so I have high hopes for Joshaya!
Lucas is wearing the same jean jacket that topanga used in BMW , and he is using a purple shirt (Riley's favorite color) Rucasss❤️❤️❤️ (Writers said that the outfit was really important in GMW )
Older Maya was wearing a black jacket, Lucas was wearing a jean jacket(color blue). And yes older Riley was wearing a shirt with turtle neck, but Farkle doesn't use turtle necks anymore.
Joshaya makes me very happy, and seeing how happy Riley was when Lucas chose her makes me think that their relationship will be good. Hopefully not awkward like the previous relationships but because they are a little older and being at the ski lodge made them see a little clearer they will be more better at being a cute couple
Everyone here! If you love GMW as much as I do, please sign the petition for a season 4 and to move it to freeform ABC. We can't just let it end on season 3. There's so much more we need to see. Another way to support is to watch it when it comes on TV to help with the ratings! By the looks of this video, these girls are streaming it online. If you can't watch it on TV, watch it on Disney Channel on demand. So long as you're helping the show. I'm not bashing on these girls, but based on their accents, the US would be airing it on TV yet they're streaming it. So please, sign the petition and watch it when it airs on TV. If we all just did our part, the show will hopefully continue.
In my opinion, from the beginning it was Riley and Lucas; she helped him in his adaptation in NY, he called her princess, she helped him in his behavioral change and with it she gave her first kiss. Josh and Maya are incredible together, since the ep 1x16, her reaction upon seeing it was so wonderful and clear. In this episode only made clear how much Josh already watched and, as a beautiful observer helped to better understand your feelings about this situation. Maya always left xlaro that had interest in him, and Josh always watched. I really want to see Joshaya together. That Disney do another season!
If people still think that "Josh told Maya how she felt", the part where Riley and Maya talk at the bay window- before Josh speaks with Maya; she says (something like) "I needed to make sure what you were feeling". She knew why she had become like Riley, Josh just worked as a catalyst for her figuring it out so the triangle could end now. I loved the video by the way and your backdrop is actual goalssssssssssss

i love girl meets world and i think some people all assume and do not listen to what they are really saying. like how when josh was "telling maya how she feels" he was not telling her how she feels so much as helping her to realize what she was feeling. josh knows maya and understands her better than she understands herself sometimes. he does say he does not know everything like why he lets her hold his hand the entire time i think that is because that is also him realizing how he feels about her. with lucas and riley the conversations he was referring to was like the one he had in the library with riley when cory took their phones and they decided to go to the library. this is just what i have observed through watching and listening not saying i know everything either.
and when he questioned if he loved her, he wasn't questioning or doubting I think he was relieved that he could finally say it without hurting Maya and he was happy because Maya gave him her blessing I think x

Trust me from someone older, if two friends date the same guy it gets way too awkward. The only reason Josh hadn't been around more is because the actor got in an accident, he was supposed to be around a lot, and it's why he knows a lot the writers had what this planned out so changing the Josh stuff would have been kind of weird
We haven't seen Josh that much, but that doesn't mean he ceased to exist in the characters lives 😂😂 I'm sure in the world of GMW he's been around a bit more

I'm not sure why they were so shocked about the ships and how they ended up. The writers were leading the story up for Maya to have this realization and if people payed attention to the true story then ski lodge wouldn't have been a shock/surprise, it would make people understand and agree to the ships that ended up together.

In girl meets upstate Maya didn't let Lucas give his real answer she just assumed it was gonna be Riley and she didn't want her to get hurt and Maya made Lucas go to Riley in this episode, he clearly didn't want to.
I'm I the only one who is glad Lucas and Maya didn't get together because I see Lucas as Maya's protective older brother? (even though they're same age) they make fun of each over like me and my brother. They do have chemistry, but it doesn't have to be romantic. This is just my Opinion, i am not trying to Bash the Lucaya or Rucas fans. I am just stating that When Riley and Lucas get together, they do make it really awkward. they are cute together but i just feel that Passionate about Rucas. Now, Maya and Josh, I can totally feel that they have feelings for each other, you can tell by the emotions in their eyes and the way they act around each other, that is adorable. I see Joshaya as endgame. oh also, I feel that Riley and Farkle has more of a connection just like Joshaya does. It is the way these couples look at each other and act around each other. it has been brought to my attention a GIANT joshaya clue. in ski lodge part two, Josh and Maya are wearing VERY similar outfits to Cory and Topanga when Topanga was going around asking people about yearbook entries in BMW. And they say VERY similar things. Topanga- you live your life and I'll live my life. you are you and I am I And if in the end we end up together it's beautiful Cory- yeah put that as mine too And in GMW Josh says something similar to Topanga and Maya and Josh make the someday deal. I found this evidence myself💝 hope you take into consideration
Jailah Wilson well if you listen closely (and I have had lucaya shippers try to tell me otherwise) Maya tells Lucas "If you care about me, go tell Riley you love her". He never told Riley he loved her implying he doesn't care about Maya. And it's not like they don't know what love is cause Auggy and Ava tell each other they love each other all the time. and the characters have said I love you to each other multiple times. Riley, Maya, and Farkle have said "I love you" multiple times to each other.

I never liked Lucaya bc it didn't make any sense it came out of nowhere and besides Maya will never take something from Riley and Lucas since day one always liked Riley never Maya. I loved this ending to the triangle bc it gave both girls their happy ending and it didn't ruined their friendship which is the real best relationship in the show.

Josh wasn't there because Uriah ( the guy who plays Josh ) got in a really bad bike accident which could of killed him but he was supposed to be in all of the second half of season 2 so it makes sonde that he would know at least some of it but we never saw him I'm sure more happens in there day then what we see
I love how they we're kinda dissing Rucas the entire time, and then in the end Riley and Lucas ended up together because maya was just protecting riley, by becoming her.
