Yeah, this is slightly "boomer humor" when girl scouts used to actually go door to door to sell the cookies. Nowadays the only place the Girl Scouts sell the cookies outright without the order sheet is usually in front of a business or grocery store.
I love the Samoas myself, though I'd say trefoils are a 2nd favorite (though until I looked it up just now, I wasn't aware that that was the name of their shortbread cookies). Not sure what so many people see in the thin mints, but granted, I have a heavy distaste for anything mint.
