I couldn't imagine how the grandfather must have felt when he accidentally ran over her. It's great to see that this devastating injury didn't hold Aspen back from accomplishing her goals. What a strong, inspirational little girl.
I love it too!! 🥲❤️ also, how old is she? I do gymnastics to and I can’t do anything she can yet well some of them like the running round off flip flop, and she seems about my age!! But also, I love how brave and incouraging to other girls and boys of all ages!! She has inspired them all!!!
I am so sorry that your daughter that is so sad I sorry your daughter I am so sorry she's probably a lot of pain I'm so sorry how she doing she feeling better RU-vid cat RU-vid channel it's Michelle with me to know you've looked me up when you chill it😊
Wow, even in the hospital photos she still looks so positive. What a strong little girl. It would be so easy to say "my life is over", but she said "no no no, my life is just beginning. Let's do this"
As a Arkansas girl I love that one of our cheerleaders helped show that Anything is possible. Aspen is a beautiful girl with a even more beautiful soul 💖
Its wild to think that this little girl is better than atleast 50% of the population ( of her age range 7-13 or older ) with 1 ( normal ) leg its crazy how much pure dedication it would take.
Same thing happened to my daughter at 4. She is now 7 and is very active, wanting to do everything! So far we have played softball and done pageants. She wanting to do soccer and gymnastics as well.
Soccer is a very special sports. There is an adapted version where players play with crutches and without the prosthetic leg. It's really impressive. For example this year's best goal was from a polish guy playing with crutches.
@@kayladaniels5729 my daughter is also four and just lost her right foot to a lawnmower accident. Looking to connect with parents who can provide advice, experience, recommendations, and reassurance.
i play volleyball with Aspen! She is absolutely great and has really adjusted to the change from gymnastics to volleyball. I absolutely love her and she has a great humor!
Something about Aspen reminds me of a young Lilliana Ketchman from "Dance Moms." Lilliana was a preemie and had health issues as a young dancer, and something about Aspen's story and just her overall demeanor about what happened to her and how she's still pursuing her dream reminds me of Lilly. Good on her, I hope she continues to be successful!
I hope she reaches her dream! She's so brave pulling through all that! She's the definition of resilience! She's so brave and strong! She'll reach her dream with hard work and determination! Stay strong aspen!
How does this video have 1.2m views and only 15k likes? Go Aspen! Your such an amazing soul, thank you for reminding me what greatness looks like and to never ever give up. And to Aspen's parents- what an amazing job you've done raising her. She's got your shiny 🌞 bright heart's 💛
100% Agree. Just hard to understand. I do realize now that watching RU-vid through a TV doesn't lend itself to a very easy user experience as far as liking videos, etc. So that could be a reason. Not sure. The dislikes are kind of heart breaking if I'm being honest. I would at least like to have a reason to know what could be better.
I used to go gymnastics as a kid. Its not easy even for abled bodied people, for an amputee it must be at least twice as challenging. This girl is phenominal and truky inspiring. I hope she makes it to the para olympics
Wow Aspen is so inspiring 💯. There is nothing impossible unless you try and yes you will succeed 🙏. May you dear Aspen continue to inspire more people to be their best selves. God bless you ❤️
I used to think my Dad was being dramatic about it, but when I’d be next door with the neighbors and they were mowing the grass, he told me to never go near it.
It's awesome too how Aspen was able to stay strong and not give up on her gymnastics dreams despite her injury. I hope she makes it to the olympics!! she deserves to!!
This is such a sad story. I hope her grandpa knows and you guys know that accidents happen even though they are tragic but when you see stories like this you realize their is triumph.
She will probably be in the Paralympics, and because she has a prosthetic leg she won’t be able to point that toe so it wouldn’t be fair if the judges deduct points because the toe is not pointed. If you get what I mean.. but good luck girl, wish you all the best
JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN!! 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV) Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
I'm thrilled for Amber. But as a grandfather myself, my heart goes out to her grandfather. HIs heart must have shattered when it happened. I hope he has forgiven himself
Something kinda similar happened to me when an adult gave me a ride on a bike. And my foot got caught in the spoke. Messed up my damn punky Brewster shoe. My fav shoes. My ankle was bleeding and tore up. I happy it didnt get amputated. I'm not sure if I could or would have been brave like her, especially w the old tech from 25years ago, to keep tryin. Some people think its makes it better, cuz it has bounce, but she also has to land perfectly because she cant turn her ankle. It's not that it's a benefit w extra powers and will make people jump higher and run faster. It will make HER jump higher and make HER run faster. Kudos to her. Frfr. N good luck
The way she lost her foot sucks just imagine getting you foot sawed off.. must’ve hurt so badly but she’s an amazing gymnast for having that happen to her
I’ve met so many kids with this injury from this accident. No lawnmowers near kids!! People don’t know also that if the small child falls off your lap the lawnmower does not register enough weight change to trigger the emergency stop!! Just don’t do it.
All I have to say is that as pen you are a beautiful gymnast and don't care what other people think because they are dumb your story is beautiful you are so brave aspen and girl I can barley do a half twist front hands or in I can run but I have never tried it with the hurdle before it and sends you inspired me so much I am gonna try it for you
