I remember I was dating this girl and she was a difficult person. I gave her a copy of a book to read "How to win friends and influence people" by dale Carnegie, (one of the most famous and biggest selling books of all time)in order to help her because she just didnt see her own behavior. She said she read the book but her comment after floored me. She said, "Just because something is written in a book doesnt mean its true". Keep in mind that this is one of the most reliable and beloved books ever written. The wisdom in this book is timeless, indisputable........or at least this is what I thought. No, she would not look at herself, she would not challenge her own behavior, she wasnt wrong in any way, it was the book that was wrong. Thats how resistant to reason some women are, they will say that the facts are wrong, they will say everything and everyone is wrong, except them. Unbelievable.

The fact that this book contains solid wisdom is irrefutable and its irrefutable because it was written over 80 years ago and still sells in droves. If what was in that book was nonsense it would've been ad gone within a few months of publication.
