Why did you leave out the funniest part of the entire clip where Sheldon invites him in for a hot beverage and then Leonard points out how he tried to score with Penny and then Sheldon responds back with how Raj and Howard also tried to do it as well and that they were having dinner with them?

Had a guy get my work location (it was remote) and personal phone number from my supervisor... showed up the next day with roses saying basically it was love at first sight and we were meant to be... I was 21, he was probably in his 40s and substantially senior (we were military) to me (and my boss).... COMPLETELY freaked me out... I'd just tried to be nice because he seemed down (said he was going through a divorce)... yeah guys... don't do that, it get creepy really, really fast...
I’m pretty sure the guy had some problems and misunderstood the signs, but ladies flirting is any man especially when they are down is the worst thing you can do, we get really attached so fast, why? I don’t know, it’s just the way it is

@@heavymetal_cutting_fabrication obviously I can't speak for everyone, but I don't recall feeling that way for any of my friends' dads... their older brothers though... 10-15yrs... yeah... that's probably more likely- generally speaking, crushing on someone who could be your dad is a little off-putting.
You know, this was nice. very social de-escalating. In other shows (also Real-life) a similiar scenario would have involved alot more shouting, anger and possible a fist fight. But here, The Guy had false assumptions, Leonard explained it in a clear but not disrespectul or angry way and the guy just accepted it and left. like i said, this is nice.
Missed Sci fi nerd opportunity here; could've had him say 'mippipippi' and made a reference out of it. This late in the series it would be a nice wink to the fans who are just below Sheldon and Leonard's level of geekiness.

She didn’t flirt with him. He’s a dirty old man stalker doctor the writers attempted to turn into a human being in the skit, which I absolutely hate even though I do like much of the show.

Had a civil conversation and then left when he had no chance. I am a girl annd this whole situation doesn't seen like a stalker situation to me. There’s at least 1 floor above them before the roof. There was an episode where Penny was mentioning that the upstairs neighbors were moving out and Sheldon got all upset because they were the best neighbors (quiet).
i know someone who is exactly like penny just short and skinny. she looks like ramona, sheldon's assistant but she act and has parallel life like penny. actress who works 2 jobs but gave up her acting career and started as sales rep. i don't think penny character is horrible. yeah selfish to some extent but not a horrible person.
If my next girl does this, I'm going to break up with her on the spot. I don't need that in a relationship. If guys try to flirt with your girl (and she kindly rejects) - it's one thing. If your girl purposefully flirts with guys (no matter what the goal is), it's off-limits.
