I wish I could see Babymetal's reaction to seeing all the people that love them. I wish I could see their reaction as they read all the stories of how they have literally saved the lives of people that were preparing to end themselves and then they discovered Babymetal and that was able to lift them out of their depression. These ladies deserve all the love they get for all the good they are doing around the world.

I think alot of us feel the same. In a world of copycats and same old same old, Babymetal not only delivers quality metal, but also always good vibes and positivity. 🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻

I have a playlist of like 25 songs that I play almost everyday while working or doing chores 😂 It said on my RU-vid recap I was among their top 0.1% listeners & had listened to “gimme chocolate” like 300 times 😂 (it was the 1st on the playlist)

@@shinyagami8843 I think it's the whole package. Some people think it's cringe when teenage girls sing about a teenage girls daily routine in Japanese over metal music and with clear vocals. Imo that is way more honest than the 100th 50 year old growler spewing blasphemic lyrics about dethroning god and burning down heaven, before returning home to the wife and kids and warm slippers. Babymetal have never claimed to be anything but what they are. Yes, there is lore, but they have always answered honestly about their origins and so on. When seeing them during interviews, they have always been very humble, thankful and very tactful. Just a thing as respecting their detractors and listening to their grievances. Never putting down anyone, whether friend or "foe". The respect and well mannered personalities is partly bc of a good upbringing and partly bc of their time in Sakura Gakuin. I don't know of course, but that's my guess. And that's also a thing that keeps Me an eternal fan. It wouldn't be impossible to imagine performers developing an ego and attitude along with great success. Not Babymetal though. You just won't find them being aloof or putting anyone down anywhere at any time. Imo alot of people could learn something from them. I also have to applaud Kobametal. Not only for coming up with everything, but also keeping the girls in an environment where they're not shopped around for interviews and appearances everywhere (like some k-pop groups), and keeping both their privacy and their work influence at a plan where they still after more than a decade still love what they do. I mean, check Su-metal performing "Gimme Chocolate" i. 2024. She has an even bigger smile than ever. 😊 And that's both reassuring and heartwarming. Koba could easily have been a creep just in it for the money, and we may have seen lewd or private pics, or worse. Who knows? Thankfully there is not, never has been or ever will be anything of the sort. And that's definitely worth supporting. But above all the "sappy" stuff mentioned, they still deliver both the most interesting and surprising metal in years. They always keep us guessing, and they never disappoint. At this point I'm just rambling, but there truly is no negative aspects to Babymetal imo. They reawakened my love for metal at a point where everything sounded the same and boring. I have huge hopes for their future, now Momometal has joined them. And they all look so happy, it's infectious. Imo no other group deserves the success they have and all good things coming their way. Babymetal is a positive message delivered through the medium of kick ass metal. There is literally nothing not to like. 🤘🏻😎 Kitsunes up my friend! 🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻

@@Hgoenge81 ​ yeah I think at some point you grow out of that Still I will remember the days listening to Rotting Christ in high school fondly 😂 Being Japanese also helps but I know what you mean. Koba is like a father figure. Many say BM is a gimmick & I will admit that it might have started as one but ended up being way more. The “creepiness” thing I think is something westerners have in mind because of their own experiences & biases. Their audience spans generations & while to Japanese people this is completely common, most westerners don’t get it because of the cultural differences. Most middle aged people listening to their music think of them as their children 😂 If any metal head says they wouldn’t want a daughter like them he’s lying 😂 Irrelevant but Wagakki band is also good. They need to bridge the gap between a mostly male fan base and a more female one...if they could break hard into that market(and they should be able to do it) their popularity would skyrocket..

Do you think their families would have allowed them to still work without a "good" contract? Jeez stop being overprotective, they're already grown up women.

@@jakemuller8626 Their families opinion doesn't matter at all when the girls are adults. It's solely the girls own choice to accept the contracts or not. Family members can of course share their opinions of the contracts if they want to. Pretty sure the girls would not do these shows if it wouldn't pay them well enough to have fun on their free time too.

Families opinion matters at all, they didn't enter in this industry on their own, they've been around when they were underage so pretty sure families taught how convenient it is for them a good contract or not, now that they're all grown up of course they don't need families to know if they're getting well paid but nonetheless KobaMetal is like a father for them, they even called them dad, so he's like family and I doubt he wouldn't give the girls what they deserve. I agree with your last sentence, that's my point when asking that question.🦊🤘
