'Politics' is somewhere in that groovy medley too. No other band deserved so much and got so little.

I can pretty say that Delta 5, Au Pairs and Girls at our Best have ever been into my heart. Gold pop songs from those precious bands in the world's music history

He actually had nothing to do with the actual session recordings. The producers are the true unsung heroes.

They were well-recorded here. I think they sound better here than they do on their LP, which I think was overproduced.

You're right...this was always the case when groups recorded Peel sessions, usually turned out better and more powerful than their albums

@@johnbracher158 So true,perhaps because the songs were fresher when they first recorded them for Peel,plus the time constraints of recording the session gave them more urgency.

I can't really understand the accusations of 'twee' levelled at the band.Many indie groups that followed in their wake were far more guilty of being twee.
