When I initially saw this on the pod, it blew my mind. Watching it back here did so all over again. How does he hold all of that information while simultaneously creating a cohesive rhyming story on the spot? 🤯 No one else can do this. No one. Let's GOOOOAT!

Jesus Christ. This guy. I have been amazed by Harry Mack since I first saw him. There were so few freestyle rappers that could spit off the top so well while also referencing anything they saw. And watching him over the years, he gets better and better. The old "H Mack" type filler words died off and he hid the filler with full filler bars while he thought of new lines to incorporate words/things from the environment. That blew me away. Then the dude throws in hooks on Omegle that incorporate the impromptu words but also let him think ahead. I was blown away again. Now the dude tells full on stories in the raps straight off the dome. It's wild. This one in particular had me so tense. Like how was he gonna hit all the subtle plot points and keep the flow smooth. But he did it. Jesus man, nothin but respect. It's an honor to hear your art so frequently. So nuts man. Your pursuit of quality is an inspiration. I probably woulda been happy with my skills if they were as good as yours were with your first guerilla bars. But you just kept sharpening your skills and now we get to hear this type of stuff.

I was so psyched to see this. I’ve wondered for a while if Harry could tell a true narrative story, even if it’s at the expense of some of the more complicated bars. I think Rick is 100% right, this is new territory Harry should explore. So many interesting things he can do in this format.

The reason to this phenomenon is very simple, as unlike with given words, in these particular situations, Mack has no boundaries, no obstacles to overcome, no specific directions, no order to follow, no gaps to fill up, no marks to check. Indeed, his mind is then perfectly free to go anywhere it wants and to go there directly or indirectly, with no help, no bridges or brain rest. In this case, he can let his art (heart) transport him to the land of freestyle via the given theme/scenario/script/concept/topic.
