I really love Hoot and SNSD's take on the 70s spy concept. I think SM took a chance with this release and it worked really well especially with a retrospective listen. Definitely one of SNSD's lesser popular songs, but Hoot has its own charms and I welcome its inclusion in SNSD's discography.

TBh, SNSD's songs are never outdated for sure. Although it's released for a decade, i'm sure that they can beat other GG's songs these days.

This song, alongside Genie, is definitely one of my favorites from SNSD ever. I love the musicality, the choreography (especially the 'trouble trouble trouble' part; I love their rotations and transitions, and the arrow dance is ingenious!!!), the outfit, the concept, the class, the elegance, ugghh just everything. It's a really different concept, so different from the ones we always see. It's so sophisticated, and they're not even trying to be. It's just so natural. So awesome. So amazing.

2019 and still listening, SNSD ROCKS MY WORLD

How did I not know Siwon was in this? This pre-dates "Spy" & him just being suave all the time in general like "Devil" & "Black Suit". Although I've loved Girls Generation songs before & have watched some of their vids a lot I've never explored all their vids or music stages, lives, etc. But I think this is the song that's going to turn me into an extreme fan. I just love the sound of it & of course the Bond girl theme to the vid is so cool. Oh, and I have a theory...can you guys help me out? The only members I know on sight so far are Taeyeon & Sunny and I have a theory about Sunny. There's just something about her face that makes me think she has a real bubbly, friendly personality like Frenchie from Grease. For some reason I just think of her whenever I see Sunny. I could be totally wrong on this, faces don't always match up with personality. Afterall, the first time I saw Jae from Day6 I thought "oh, what a delicate angel! The world must hurt that fragile boy!" then I read his twitter and my head popped off its neck.
