That was a cultural revolution. It was the best-selling album by a girl group of all time and the best-selling Kpop album of the year, they held that record for a decade, winning artist of the year. Being the last female group in history to win it

I think many fans have consider The Boys as SNSD's best era. 😍SNSD also won MAMA Artist Of The Year during this time (2011) beating boy groups in a male dominated era so some fans jokingly says their lyrics "bring the boys out" was calling out the boy groups to bring it on hehe😅. Although they're already been well known throughout Korea or even Asia, SNSD attempted to get into American music market which is why there's an Eng ver. The Boys english version is ok, but their live performance in David Letterman is even better. GG really built different.. theyre just bout 22-24 here yet look how they own the concept. They are that group wherein once they switch to other concept you would thought theyre a different group. The boys was that comeback who made every kpop groups delayed their own just for them not to be overshadowed and the album THE BOYS the only Girlgroup album on top until today 👑 thanks for reacting

Interesting enough the beggining intro beat is actually TVXQ - Keep your head down song. I actually didnt knew about it for long time and not sure how many fans know. I will recommend to check Yuri dance performance of The Boys in My Teenage Girl. It's iconic. Also The Boys + I Got The boy had one of most iconic fan chants at Dream Concert in 2013. Those songs was big hits and all public knew them. Such a journey for girls since black ocean at Dream Concert previously to ITNW playing as closing years later when they not even present. Legends

I recommend Mr Mr next but the live stage since some of the footage got corrupted, so the MV wasn't as good as many people said. The dance is such a highlight. So I recommend looking out for the live stage with the white or pink suit Also, yes The Boys is pretty much a statement piece that's filled with empowering feels from these women through as they convey it through their facial expression, vocals, and dress.

I just want to correct people who said that it was The Boys Album that won Disk Daesang. False. It was actually the Oh! Album that made SNSD the only girl group in history to win Disk Daesang at the 2010 Golden Disk Awards. SNSD is legendary. Please continue.

Noticed you have tons of TaeYeon but no other members solos. Tiffany had solo album in 2016, then US solos and Lips on Lips album in english. Also, HyoYeon solos 2017 plus several more songs and performances. SeoHyun, SooYoung had solo songs, Yuri and Sunny too. Please explore more…ty
