Sadie is just finished her sophomore year. I've been watching her run since a freshman. She has the height, technic, stride and great form. Gorriaran is an 800 meter specialist and she tried sprint a little early, but Sadie is just above everyone else.
@@timmarshall703 Maybe. I think Claire needs a little more height. I think to complete with Sadie she needs to physically grow more. I think Englehardt best time in the mile is 4:34. So Sadie was still 4 seconds slower than her fastest time. I'm going to go on a limb here and say that Englehardt may be qualify for the Olympic trials next year. We shall see.
what a line up this was... from top to bottom... but as usual Queen Sadie beats them all. interesting that the top two runners are both sophomores. Stegal doesnt get enough credit for how good she is. maybe her and Hedegren can press Sadie to the record over the next two years.
Just curious about this - does anyone know what's the reason for the three lanes inside the 'curb' they were running next to? Maybe Lane #1 is a 375-ish meter lap? It looks like its a really odd distance, not sure what it would be used for.
@@golden.lights.twinkle2329 actually it’s because world records don’t count if you don’t have the railing - plus, it’s so they can have straight aways that have 9 lanes for sprints ! It has nothing to do the 1 mile ?
Bad take on this one haha Sadie was a rockstar, so impressive mentally for the entire race! What Claire did was never ever challenge herself to take the risk to go for it. Claire Sat in the pack and then kicked to end her work out. I see talent for sure but where is the fight?
Well, Sadie took the lead soon after the race started and kept it the whole race. She was tiring at the end and had there been another 20-25 meters and Stegal wins that race, heck, another 10 meters and Stegal wins.....Gorian should have learned quite a bit from this race...as should have Sadie. Work it out in training....
