“Black Rodeo” I can see how someone uneducated could perceive it to be racist. So this is what I know, after educating myself on The Negro Cowboys Rodeo Association (Black Cowboys) Black men weren’t allowed in professional rodeo’s so they created there own associations and rodeos in 1947. So in theory because they wasn’t able to yeee haw with the 🤍 they created their own, now who 👂🏽racist 🤠
@@34canita do y’all use the race card for any question you can’t answer…I really curious as to how my question is racist or how I’m a racist for asking a question….but like I said before uneducated ppl love to assume things….for all u know my family can be black but yea imma racist I guess for a asking a question smh
@@jorgetabares4758 I wasn’t implying you were racist, I was speaking towards how the black rodeo came about. It was created to allow black cowboys the opportunity to enjoy and participate in rodeo’s since they weren’t allowed to participate with White rodeos which is a tradition that has evolved from being segregated. So yes this is a black rodeo for black people. However, with the change of the times, all races are welcomed, I seen so many other races there it was a beautiful event. I hope breaking it down this way helped answer your question. Have a great day🙂
