And that is actually a pretty good "Hannah" day. The worst was the bikini in the Hamptons. I could barely watch. I love the show though, I don't know why. :-)
I guess im asking randomly but does anybody know a trick to get back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot the password. I love any help you can give me
The sad part is that the girl isn’t wrong lol. Adam did screw her over. It’s funny cause I know plenty of guys like Adam in real life and their stories end just like his. Sad. He would’ve been slightly redeemable if he had at least taken some accountability. It wasn’t till things ended with Hannah that he went crawling to other options 🤦🏻♀️ On a side note though I do love this show and Adam Driver 😄😂
@@rachelralph1 I should've known there'd be at least one person offended by my comment. It's a TV show and it's not meant to portray all new moms, Hannah's character though is specifically written to not be ready for her pregnancy, it is unexpected after all from a fling she has while away on a writing piece. Plus, Hannah even acknowledges this by making a list of reasons why she can't have a child, one of them being she doesn't even act her age and she knows it. She's not perfect, I know that but to be so offended so easily is a bit much. She eventually starts to get the hang of it, but her character arc to have a baby came out of left field and it made her be unprepared for it that's what I'm trying to say and that Adam's ex was right about that.
@@Lilagrace326 not offended baffled. Do you know how many great mothers start motherhood from an unplanned pregnancy after a fling, struggle and research while deciding too keep or not keep, have the baby but struggle with breast feeding, feel guilty about not being able to breast feed, sleep loss and feeling like they’re a terrible mom at first and suddenly everything (hopefully) begins to fall into place. It’s almost cliche example of 20 somethings. Maybe I don’t understand your point. If it was written as though she was a perfect new mom it would have been out of Hannah’s character and boring. Yes it’s a TV show. Curious, how would have you written these episodes? Or don’t. All good.
It's pretty crazy how society as a whole, but even liberal Social Justice Warriors, have no problem with the fact that Jews in Hollywood frequently toss around the non-Jew slurs like S h i k s a and G o y i m in movies and TV shows. Can you imagine if non-Jews in movies and TV shows tossed around anti-Jew slurs? (Won't dignify them by writing them here, but we all know what they are.) Oh, the double standard.
@@CarissaConti those aren't slurs. They just mean non-Jewish woman and non-Jewish people respectively. It doesn't have negative connotations in Hebrew.
@@YoniLiron It does. Let's not pretend otherwise. Jews who use those terms, Shiksa, Goyim, Goy, etc., absolutely mean them in a derogatory way most times. I've seen it in real life, and in other movies/shows. This instance with Ray saying it is the only nice sounding time I've ever heard the term used. Hardcore Jews believe they're God's chosen people and the rest of us are animals here to serve them. If it wasn't meant in a derogatory way they wouldn't have terms that *differentiate* like that. The *us vs. them* thing. "We're the true humans and you're not." Etc. Your name sounds Jewish, but it doesn't sound like you're aware of this.
I don't think he feels the way you do about them, particularly Lena who wrote a great character for him and gave him his big break. He probably wouldn't BE Kylo Ren without 'Girls'.
@@moonlily1 - I meant Kathleen Kennedy, She started when she was young as George Lucas' PA and is now the President of LucasFilms. In 1981, she co-founded the production company Amblin Entertainment with Steven Spielberg and her husband Frank Marshall. Her first film as a producer was E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and one of her recently produced films is Lincoln starring Daniel Day Lewis as President Lincoln. Adam had a cameo role in it and KK saw him and believed he was the right person for Kylo Ren, and when she hired JJ Abrams, she asked him to consider Adam in the role. Adam was not auditioned for the role, but was instead offered the role by JJ and KK. He asked for a few months to decide, and once he made his decision to say yes, the role was his. Much of the decision for JJ and KK was based on his acting in Girls.
@@darrahlane5975 Oh wow. You're really well versed on film industry stuff. 'Girls' was a great series that actually launched a lot of great careers, and actually did really well by male actors. It launched Adam Driver and Andrew Rannells and revived the careers of Peter Scolari and Colin Quinn. '
I love it when Ray sitting there grinning add the things that the blind he was saying and especially the brunette when she was cutting him down , poor Adam
Sparklemotion101 "Someone told you that "Girls season 3 the grumpy's scene" was a big deal?" This scene specifically and the show in general. "Who, and why?" This scene in specific: I don't remember where exactly, but it was a contributor to one of those "female empowerment" blogs. The show in general: several of my friends and general fawning over it online and in print media.
Momma llama In a Can I'm not familiar with those female empowerment blogs. I'm not sure why anyone would recommend an out-of-context scene from the third season of a character-driven series to someone who has never seen the show, but I do know that this is an unusual way to watch television. Most viewers watch TV episodes with the scenes in a specific order (with each season's episodes in a specific order, and with the series's seasons in a specific order). It's possible that the friends and general fawning included more people who watched the series from the beginning, and fewer people who attempted to judge a series after watching a single 3-minute scene.
