i know this is a bit late and some of you have played this game and some have not but i will say this, for you to unlock the type 10 tank there is an easiest way without participating the festival. Just play the extra mission called it's againts the rules where you as miho and the other oarai teams will team up againts ami chouno and her type 10. In this battle it's a flag tank and acccording to some gamers who played this you have to play it in extreme mode difficulty at least that's what i believed in and it worked but i'm not sure if you're able to unlocked it by playing normal or hard mode cause i finished it in just 1 game in extreme mode. But damn type 10 is a beast its stats is insane but it's only weakness is it's rear or should i say behind it the problem is cause it's an op tank you don't have a chance to run behind it unless you erase your presence and sneak up on it. This tip is only for nintendo switch but i don't know if it also applies in ps4 since i don't own one
It's not that I'm bullying, it's that the AI doesn't know how to fight back. Throughout the video, I played aggressively, but there's a weak spot that if shot at can decrease the Type 10's health drastically (check out my other video, I used that to my advantage when fighting a Type 10.) Throughout this video I don't think my weak spot was hit. So it wasn't truly one-sided. It's the AI's loss. The AI isn't very good in this game.
A Type-10 against all those WW2 tanks? That's not fair! It does give me an idea for a scenario, though. Say that Miko and Ooarai had to 10v1 against the Type 10. How would you have them beat it? I'd have them go for an environment kill, either getting it to flip over or crash into a ditch and get stuck. They'd be very unlikely to penetrate its armor.
I know it’s not fair, but it was just for fun after a long and stressful week. About your scenario, it was quite interesting! I would have liked to read a manga/anime adaptation of that scenario, but I’m not sure whether it is available yet. Edit: I Improved my spelling because my English is terrible.
I guess for PS version you need the DX DLC in order to get the Panzer fahren Festival mode, right? When I played that game on my PS4 last time (2021) it wasn't listed in the Menu. Surprisingly In the Switch version I was able to unlock it easily. But I fought it in the French map which was easy to bait the Type 10 with all my Teammates (except the flag tank if it wasn't me) and and drive around, autolock it, and right behind the type 10, take a drift and while drift wait until your Cannon stabilizes from it and then fire. - I know it sounds unrealistic, but drift shots cause much more damage. In combination with autolock (Press Square/Y) but when you drift your Cannon gets unstable, so while drift wait until the Cannon readjust to the enemy, that often happens before your Tank is too slow to continue drifting. So before your tanks stops drifting fire the cannon into the Type 10's rear and you actually win instantly, since not only is a Regular shot pretty heave for the Type 10,but also a Drift shot can destroy it immediately. - I destroyed it that way with a Pershing. Also to prevent getting discovered first by the Type 10, select Darjeeling for your own tank, and as your Partner, use a light tank with Katyusha. So you can scan large maps and Katyusha often helps to refill your action bar immediately to instant scan the map again. Dont use any narrow maps, such as Old streets, or Ooarai city. Use large open area maps, or those with long narrow Paths (like golf course, Forest or that one leisure park map with that wild west city, NOT the other one.) or like here in this video, the Maze. You can split your mates (except the Flag tank if it isn't you) to let them find the Type 10 first and when they find it you just keep shooting it. Fortunately the AI somehow often won't shoot back through the Maze walls, that gives you time that other Tanks arrives at his position from other sides before the Type 10 destroys the first tank he encountered it. If your tank gets destroyed in this match, close the game immediately to prevent the game saving the failure, so you can retry the match. Each retry causes the Flag to switch the Tanks. So it could happen that you will be the Flag tank, which allows you to command one more tank to bait the Type 10 and Sacrifice himself instead send him far away from battle or hiding him.
