Helmet-chan is the end result of neglecting to apply vitality to any of your US Tank Crew except the loader. While everyone else is knocked out or critically injured, Helmet-chan is still there in fighting shape. Needless to say, Helmet-chan will basically be operating the entire Sherman by herself because everyone else died of repeated concussions and/or rivets penetrating them in fatal areas. Katyusha is the same for USSR Tank Crews, but instead of the loader it's the Tank Commander.
If Helmet-chan has a million fans, I am one of them. If Helmet-chan has ten fans, I am one of them. If Helmet-chan has one fan then that one is me. If Helmet-chan has no fans then that means I'm dead. If the world is against Helmet-chan then I am against the world.

It's completely safe ofc, they all wear the highest quality plot armor, doesnt matter if you crew is fixing up a engine or the tracks from outside under fire, commander dancing on top of tank under machine gun fire or getting a maus parked on top off you. What even could happen?
Helmet chan vs Arisa the tyrant! Helmet chan vs the feeling of confusion she has to live with because nothing around her makes sense anymore, the laws of physics seem to be completely broken and everyone around her is just a husk of what they used to be. Everyone she has ever met simply embodies some character trait and acts extremely insensible, nobody even thought to bring a helmet to war! And why does everyone act like it's some sort of friendly competition, they act so oblivious to taking life on a daily basis WHAT KIND OF BROKEN WORLD IS THIS!? Where am I and why is it so... *COLD?*
It seems that I am truly alone, all around me are just robots that exist to fulfil specific roles, when the big eye in the sky stops looking at them they just freeze. Alisa's Sherman is one of thoose rare crews outside of oarai and BT-42 where you see all their members, like.. all 5 of them even the 2 on the hull were shown.
Im pretty sure all the other schools fill their tanks to crew capacity (Obviously with the exception of Ooarai) and I'm pretty sure that the BT-42 is also filled to capacity given that it's a small tank and the BT-5 & 7 both have three crew members

Ribbon no musha is the best freaking part in the whole franchise for me, everyone's depiction in there is so damn cool, and the main cast in that series is great
Well, not quite sure about that. A shell hitting a tank with enough force to rock it and the crew inside around like that would probably need to be big enough to flatten it and anyone inside. That said, you're right for a different reason; spalling. When a shell hits a tank with sufficient force, it may not just penetrate it and cause damage by the merit of the shell itself alone - as the shell enters the tank, it transfers a massive amount of energy to and in turn very quickly bends and heats and warps the area of the tanks armor around where it just hit. This causes many many small pieces of metal, called spall, to fly off of the inner surface of that armor and come ripping through the inside of the crew compartment like the fragmentation effect of a grenade, tearing through machinery and whoever's inside alike. Most tanks nowadays are equipped with liners to mitigate the effect of spalling incidences, but it's something you certainly want to be ready as you can be for. So, helmet.

@@larshenrik8900 Pretty sure it was in that specific battle, since they’d added the radio interception equipment in, which took up space and forced her to reach further for more shells.
@@larshenrik8900 I thought it was just a regular M4A1 with just an upgraded gun, so that has ammo behind the driver. Crews did complain about said ammo in the side, it being difficult to reach and all that
the argument between Arisa and the gunner over using the 50 cal is totally true..why use a MG when you have the Main Gun..its a lot more cool and we all know you have to look cool in Tankery..
Only thing about the show that got me like “I mean ya but they didn’t use the tank.” Was for the FireFly to be on the American team. Yes it’s a Sherman hull but the gun the engine where British and the turret was modified to fit the 18 pounder in sideways. Kinda wish the British team atleast mentioned that they didn’t want to use it for some reason.
They have the Firefly because of the power of MONEY. They also have the most tanks out of all the schools. But to be fair, St. Gloriana has a Tortoise, as said by Darjeeling when they were fighting the T28.
Helmet chan is the driver, commander, gunner, loader and radio op as well as being the head of security at saunders when not practicing senshado. This isn't cannon yet but we can make it be!!!
But why is she looking for the she looking for shells down there? Aren't they supposed to be stored in that box to her left? America was obsessed with ammo. (Though when stored there, they started a fire when shot from the outside before extra armor was added)
