I swear that was Jewels' favorite thing we found during the whole trip. Like even if Sanrio Puroland was somehow shut down or Harajuku disappeared from existence, I think she would still be satisfied with her trip because of that single sign.

I’ve always been too intimidated to get that giant rainbow ice cream but it looks delicious, I’d love to try all the flavours! Amazed it didn’t melt!! 😝

Definitely share it with at least one other person, it will really fill you up hehe! But all the flavours are soooo tasty~ I noticed they often have a "seasonal" flavour too, since they were out of the special purple one when we came (which I assume was either taro, or perhaps plum due to it being Plum Rain season).

I'm crying at the Ojamajo Doremi rhythm tap at the mandarake ;-; it's my favorite magical girl transformation item and I've wanted it ever since I was a little boy. Also I'm so happy to have seen a lil peek of Ashita no Nadja items in there too! It was an anime I loved when I was little as well.

100,000 yen, that is at a SUBSCRIBER discount. Sumimasen! Peachie-chan Yuki merchandise is very rare because it aired only 3 episodes before it was cancelled.... because it was... pretty terrible. A lot of broken japanese spoken, and they kept calling rice balls "donuts".

Ah! I love your new shoes!! And the retro Care Bears T shirt was cute too. Tell me, did Jewels end up rescuing a Stitch or not? I know I went to an arcade in Wales once where they let us purchase a plush rather than win it, I don't know if that would be an option in Japan. Looking forward to the next video already!

We didn't end up doing any of the machines at the arcade, because we used up our coins for Gachapon and we knew we'd pass lots of other arcades later. :D We COULD have gotten coins from an exchange machine, but didn't want to tempt fate haha. And yes, in Japan there are often stalls or shops right next to the arcades that let you buy the toys at a high-ish price. There was probably one on one selling some of the stuff in that arcade within of the many floors of Nakano Broadway haha.

If any anybody is going to Japan and plan on playing at the arcades, I highly recommend watching Kawaii Arcade Masters on RU-vid. The channel is run by Nancy and her family. And she is really good at arcade games (the ones in Japan as she lives in there). Like she can easily win the prizes.

Wishing you a wonderful time in Japan!! And yes you'd ask the clerk. ^_^ If you don't know how to speak Japanese, you can simply say "Sumimasen" (soo-mee-mah-senn/"excuse me") and then gesture over to the item you'd like. *You could add "onegaishimasu" (oh-neh-gy-shi-mass/"please") when gesturing too.

The retro anime style reminded me that I’ve seen an anime (Candy Candy) in a store in and danish anime’s really rare (Lol Tokyo Tokyo add) Idk geography in Japan but u should have gone to the rabbit island. OMG, I bought that Vaporeon at my last con (probably brought from Japan)

Rabbit Island is very hard to get to and not near anywhere we traveled. However I may go someday, although I admit since I got my own pet bunnies the urge has decreased. Also, I'd be concerned about bringing back foreign rabbit viruses to my own pet rabbits.

HEHEHEHE thank you!! I grew up using Flash so I have had lots of experiencing animating in it and stuff. Literally my answer to your question is I just know how to do semi-basic animation in Flash :) *Sadly that software is shutting down in 2020 so I can't recommend it.

Gosh, this is a mystery! They all share the same "おでにちゃん" (Odenichan) text on their label, but I can't find any info of that online. "Nichan" often means "older brother" (or older brother type/personality), but that doesn't make much sense here lol. They have very similar proportions to Dal dolls (these are made by same company as Pullips)- but they don't' share the same face style at all.
