I got back from an early morning tour of Girona today with my little sister. It was quite breathtaking experiencing actual sets of my favorite tv series especially the Sept of Baelor stairs. We took a lot of photos to remember this experience. :)
Two of my ancestors are buried inside the cathedral, two Puig brothers, Gaufred de Puig who died “8 Gener de 1339” (8 January 1339), and Guillem de Puig who died “24 de Juny 1348” (24 June 1348), “les anime dels quals reposin en pau” or (Let them rest in peace).
Planning on going to Girona for the Game of Thrones tour in November - do you recommend a day trip from Barcelona or is there enough to see in Girona to stay a few days in the town of Girona? Also, are there local GOT tours that can be booked when already in Girona? We've only seen the GOT tours as day trips from Barcelona. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! .... by the way, great episode! This episode convinced me to put Girona back on our itinerary. After the disappointing finale to GOT, we scratched the Barcelona leg and opted instead to stay longer in Madrid / Lisbon. But after seeing this - well, now I think I want to go to Girona! Thanks for a great video :)
Hi! Yeah the finale was definitely disappointing but the locations are still fun to visit! I would definitely say just do a day trip to Girona from Barcelona. You can roam around the city in 1 day and take the train back to barcelona. That way youre not bringing your luggage to another city and having to carry it around. With Barcelona only being about 38 minutes away, its a short trip back!
@@tsonah so sorry for just reading your message here and it has been two weeks ago!!! Been busy with my clients touring around Barcelona and of course the Girona GoT... next time ill make sure that I'll be around to show you around free of charge!
Its Michael here..I know it's already too late, but I'll let you know my contact for later reference. email : michael@gytravelandtours.com...Phone : +34 603 193 503...thanks a lot
Hi Angela! I believe Michael's information is in the description box below the video but i believe u can do it on your own if you just guide yourself using this video! Its only like 38 minutes from Barcelona by fast train. Unless u want a tour guide, michael is great!
