Can you share the information regarding General rule for 1.kiln girth gear and pinion permissible of root gap, backlash , radial run-out, axial run-out. 2. Ball mill gear and pinion permissible of root gap, backlash , radial run-out, axial run-out. 3. Kiln shell radial run-out, axial run-out. I will be very thankful for that. 🙏
I think there is a gap in the gear mesh, Gears are not 100% parallel, unless the finishing is so bad that the gears are curved?! in other words the backlash is not the same on both sides and the pressure point or the touching surfaces are not really touching on both sides (there is a gap it's not ZERO) ?!
@@GlobeTrotterJAY hi Please can you tell me...If we are getting backlash at certain position very low i.e. 0.2 to 0.4 in cold conditions of kiln in both pinion,and in hot we are getting more than 5 in this case any pinion adjustment required? Module is 45 and during static inspection we observed pittings in certain set of tooth flanks
