1:52:31 the surveil duals are cool because theyre fetchable, that makes them just soooo much better than, for example, the temples in most cases.

1:56:43 since you mentioned silence, ive been really high on Orim’s Chant lately because it does the same thing but you can kick it for an extra white to prevent them from declaring attacks if needed too and that seems just about perfect in terms of extra utility for the decks you play.

1:47:27 i understand why they would feel like they cant take you on here PJ. Gisella woth doublestrike hits for 20 in a vacuum, then you have bitterhorn sitting in the background for that extra push into lethal one-shot commander damage.

With Velomachus I think it is best to cap noncreature spells at 5 with a few higher than that.. lots of protection spells too like Blacksmith's skill and Loran's escape. I did land destruction with it haha it is quite funny to play. Though once people see the gimmick they target me consistently when I play it.

Yeah that was a lot of the issue I had with velomachus. It is just overcosted at 7 mana. And its like realistically, how many attacks will you get a game with him? So then whatever spell you hit needs to be big. Its just a really tricky commander that I definitely havent mastered.
