I had given up on ballet until I saw her. It seemed like so many with talent were going into other disciplines like rhythmic gymnastics and acro...but then along came the ever so appropriately named Gisele. May she become a legend like her namesake.
Holy shit, that was mesmerizing. Breathtakingly beautiful and eerie at the same time. She is incredible and did the amazing choreography complete justice.
Oh~Gisele is mesmerizing, you make a great team! Our 6yo Lily Grace has High Functioning Autism is a little ballerina and is in love with ballet, so we watch MANY dance videos, and Giselle is enchanting! In fact, before seeing Gisele dance, Lily Grace's favorite dancer on youtube was Uliana Lopatkina but now she wants practice very hard so she can be like Gisele. Please let Gisele know that her dancing is not just beautiful , it is inspiring to many little girls with big dreams, Thanks!
Wouldn't say this is the most interesting choreography artistically, but - WOW - it so brilliantly shows off the enormous amount of sheer talent in Gisele's body & is just perfect for the purpose of this competition! Bravo! Beautifully danced - as always by Gisele - of course!
I think the question of suspicion in this is "Is she even human?" oh my goodness, this Is amazing! I felt like my bones wanted to twist in synchronization.
That was absolutely fantastic!!! How I wish my 70yo body could have just a tenth of her flexibility! What a wonderful stage to show her flexibility and her movements. She looks like she’s made of soft rubber. I remember when I was a little girl making a doll from cotton reels and elastic. It could move like she does. I loved every second of this video. Bravo Gisela!❤️. 😊🦘🇦🇺
I love how she talks to the music with her movements, for every inflection there's an answer. That's not easy nor as frequent as I'd like. Of course, her physique and technique and incredible but she has a certain spark and it shows. And I bet she will keep developing her talent. That's not her ceiling yet.
Seeing her yagp videos from when she was thirteen, then comparing to the year before, I really feel like Gisele really started to develop as a dancer at thirteen. Before, it was like she had the pieces to a puzzle, unassembled. She had really good technique, expression, and much more, but I feel like when she performed in yagp at twelve, it seemed those weren't put together. However, at thirteen, I get the feeling that she really put it all together. It was as if the puzzle had been assembled and everything looked perfect. Great job, Gisele!
This is absolutely brilliant! Proper use of flexibility! Great job! So many girls who are super flexible dance contemporary as if it were gymnastics. You made it look like contemporary dance but still used the flexibility you have. Excellent!
From Arizona, caught the local Fox report on this 15yr phenomenon then found this, truly a mesmerizing talent. @slawomir Wozniac wonderful thing u did & to see the teacher seek out the student. This guru/disciple relationship is the deepest way to transmit skill n perfect our abilities to self realize beauty....and 'Beauty will save the world' ~ Fyodor Dostoesvsky Peace!
Stacy Rodriguez Abby's studio is a "competition studio". The types of studios that produce people like Giselle are studios that actually value ballet technique. Yes, Abby's dancers might get jobs, but probably none of them have jobs in any major companies. Giselle going to abby's studio would, quite frankly, be a downgrade.
+Sarah Pohl Thank you for your comment, actually Gisele got a contract with ABT Studio Company so she is on her way to join professional company this September, even if she is only 16 years old. In a couple of years she will be one of the most known dancers. We have few students that Abby is begging to join her team but they are not interested at least for now.
most hilarious comment I've ever seen...you obviously don't know ballet...maddie couldn't even do the first step if she tried. "even better'?...uhhh maddie can't even compare...she doesn't even do pointe. what
She's a beautiful dancer, and even though everyone is obsessing over her feet and all, but I think their kind of gross. They are very arched, but they almost look broken.
This isn't contemporary, this is cringey. She's never going to ask what's on the menu cause she already knows it's legs. STOP STRICTLY USING YOUR LEGS. STOP IT!!!! -a dancer who is a dance critique.
