Hari Om!
Lord's Vishvarūpa-DARSHANA to Arjuna as discussed by Swami Aparajitananda gives us unique opportunity and enables us to SEE imports of Samskrita words, depth of analysis and logical explanation of attitudes of human mind and moods of The Divine and many wonders to come.
Verse 4: Swamiji discusses Arjuna's humility in confessing unfitness and lack of a divine mind (like Mahātmās) to have Divine Vision; and Arjuna's attitude of Ishvara Prasāda Buddhi of a devotee in expressing the desire.
Projection of world by vāsanā-filled mind and by divine mind are differentiated clearly.
Verse 5: Krishna's Bhakta-parādhīnatā for beloved devotees in accepting Arjuna's request; the creative potential of Lord; why He is called Hiranyagarbha and how infinite variety is unique feature of universe is clearly simplified by examples of Vivekananda's answer and the number of commentaries on Gītā.
Swamiji discusses: why the term "divyānī"? and explains how anything/anyone belonging to or associated with or in which one sees, feels, remembers, experiences God becomes divine.
Verse 6: Arjuna's interest in Knowledge and Krishna's special blessings are seen. Wonders and divinities of 14 worlds are offered to be seen to Arjuna by Lord. Swamiji discusses specifically Lord's fourth way of answering Arjuna's request.
Another logical interpretation of divinities i.e. showing various functionings in the world is also discussed elaborately.
What Vishvarūpa-darshana exactly is, when Jagata-darshana becomes Ishvara-darshana, when and how it is divinised, is discussed. Example of Kenopanishad story is explained.
