Thanks for the upload. Mrs. Indrani Mishra is my friend's mother. I grew up listening to her songs. Have been looking this series (Part I and II) since maybe last 5 years. But least expected it to be on you tube. We had 2 cassettes in our house and lost track of them when we grew up. This incident dates back to more than 20 years back. I remember the lyrics and music composition line by line. Regardless what the copyright police thinks. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Great job.
The lyric is enlivened by such a nice melodious voice and music , rhythm , intonation are unique and excellent. The ancient heritage of Odisha culture is reflected in this melodious music.
This is the most melodious rendition of Gita Gobinda that I have heard. Great composition by Sri Prataap Panda, different from all previous renditions across India. Perfect for mood and each emotiin of each song. Matched only by the mellifluous lilting tune of Srimati Indrani Misra. All three of you : Pratap , Indrani and Ghanshyama Babu : You have done a singularly great service for the world of music. S.K.Sadangi, Chief Vigilance Officer Coal India, Rajasthan, Kolkata .... A fan of this immortal beautiful early medieval creation by Jaydev.
Gita Govinda is timeless. This rendition composed by Sri Pratap Panda and the melodious voice of Indrani Mishra and Ghanashyam Panda has taken it to greater heights. Staying for a long time outside India, music like this gets us connected back to our culture. I thank all of you and your team for creating such inspiring music which makes every Odiya proud. A big big thanks for uploading the most beautiful and sacred offerings to the Almighty... It gives me goosebumps while remembering the days when I used to listen to the songs with my father and singing along with....whatsoever I knew.... We used to eagerly wait for the ISKON van to purchase the cassetes. I am literally crying while writing the comments because it has brought me to my childhood's memories when me and my father used to listen to the songs on a tape recorder...... Jai Jagannath❤😊🙏⭕‼️⭕
With all due respect to smt Indrani Mishra, my observation is that in the ashtapadi 'samudita madane' her pronunciation of some sanskrit words are not clear. But I admire her other renditions.
Haha and you are an expert are you Behera? Mishrani is 100% correct in her pronunciation, I could not find one mistake in her rendition. Challenge you to tell me one mistake.
Thanks to Pratap Babu for the beautiful composition of the immortal works of Jayadev. Thanks to Indrani Ji and Ghanashyama babu for the wonderful presentation. Music touches our hearts and lifts our soul. Thanks to the team for for these works.
Dear Surath, This was once being sold by ISKON in two CD packet. I had donated two CDs purchased by me at Bhubaneswar Iskon temple to a Swamy of Boston Branch of Iskon when I was briefly there in 2005. But now Iskon does not make these CDs and they have gone out of market. Nonetheless do enjoy the beauty of these songs by downloading them from RU-vid. These singers and their unique rendition have mesmerizing effect because of the simple way they have been rendered which is the hallmark of Gitagobinda poetry itself. Devotion is IPR- free.
