Until tonight, I had only ever heard 2 songs by Hanson..... Why the hell did no one tell me how seriously amazing these guys are?!!!

These kids conquered the air waves with mmmbop in 97 when they were 16,14 and 11. There was no doubt in my mind they would keep it up for decades. The interview about mmmbop is amusing.

I really love the way Tay sends a happy and humble aura to me everytime he sings. This video is amazing overall, it's like a spring of happiness, don't care about how you look, or the choreography whatsoever, and that "anyone" can be happy.

I recently listened to Middle of Nowhere so I thought I'd check out their latest works. In the age of post-grunge Hanson were considered too happy and poppy but I think we needed that. The fact they played their own instruments was a testament to their integrity - teenage boys could be pop orientated but still authentic. I'm almost 30, now, and I still love their work!

Honestly, I was a big fan as a girl. I was not like my cousins though. You guys were not the average boy band to me, you were the band that my father approved of. Not for the good wholesome reasons you guys would think a father would approve of but because you are what my father would consider "true musicians" he hated having a teen aged daughter through the big "boy band" era. (he didn't have anything against me or boy bands just didn't like the music).He and I really agreed on Hanson though. You guys truly are original and are true to the music. I really love to see that you guys are still creating and honestly thank for doing so because it helps me remember that their are people who still love to create out there!
