Man, I went here as a kid! I was diagnosed with stage four cancer at 18 months and went to GKTW when I was finishing up treatment! I'm sure I still have a little stuffed Mayor Clayton in my closet! It's so cool knowing that my star is still up there.

I submitted my application to volunteer today and my daughter was excited that we can do our part, even for a day, to help the best way we can. To make a child smile will be the best part of my vacation.

My family was fortunate to be invited to this wonderful place when our youngest of three children was diagnosed with a life threatening brain tumor at the age of 6 and given only a 20٪ chance to survive. Today my son Eric who survived and is now 31 years of age sends me this link to see. I love that place , and everyone is wonderful there. My youngest daughter is a cancer free survivor. We stayed for one week. Beautiful atmosphere, beautiful people.. my daughter's star is there.

Oh my goodness you guys. Our son had his make wish trip in 2009 and we stayed at GKTW. It totally changed us as a family. GKTW is so wonderful. It has impacked us for life and we will donate our time some day . Its something I have always wanted to do since we stayed there. Watching this just brought all the feels from when we stayed. Our son has been in remission since 2012. He get regular mri scans. He is a wonderful, smart ,handsome rising Sophmore. During the most horrific time in our lives GKTW allowed him to be a kid and us to enjoy each other not in a hospital setting! Thank you both for sharing the info of this wonderful place. 💜
We're actually headed there with our wish kid in January. Your videos have helped us plan our time in Orlando, make the most of all it has to offer. I'm so glad you were able to enjoy time at GKTW, what they do is amazing. Our girl is 3, with two different types of tumors- one a brain tumor, the other Neuroblastoma.
Prayers for your family. Enjoy the resort. We wish we had more time to enjoy it when we were there, but the almost 7 yr old wanted to ride ALL the rides at ALL the parks. Needless to say...we missed out enjoying the GKTW resort.
My family went there a few years ago for my Daughter's wish. (She was born with half a heart, single kidney with stage 3 chronic kidney disease). She had very little chance to survive all her surgeries, we went there before her huge surgery, I never seen her smile so much!, she had so much fun!, Such an incredible place!
My son was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia 18 years ago. GKTW was not only a wonderful place for him to take a break from the chemo and spinal taps but also a magical way for the entire family to let go of all the stress from his illness and be free to laugh and enjoy with each other. Once you are a GTWK kid you can always come back to visit whenever you want. My son beat cancer and 18 years later we all came back to visit the place that gave us so much love and hope. It took a dedicated volunteer over 3 hours to find my sons star in the castle and we cried when he climbed a ladder to touch it and take a picture of the exact star he wrote his name on at age 4. My granddaughter got to go here when she was 4. This is one of the most beautiful gifts to a child. She passed away a year ago at the age of 6, and it was such a blessing to see this video and remember how much the entire family enjoyed their trip. Thank you so much for doing this video. You two blessed my life with a beautiful memory!
We had the opportunity to stay here with our family(daughter, son-in-law and 7 grandchildren ) This place is top notch. Blessed to say our grandson is now a healthy 9 yr old.
I had the awesome opportunity to visit GKtW in 2011 for my Make-A-Wish trip after a bone marrow transplant for leukemia. They do awesome things!! I had such a good time, every single person there made me feel special. I remember walking into our villa and seeing a Mickey Mouse, and also playing Candy Land at night. They make every night a party with different events. My star is somewhere in the Castle of Miracles! So awesome to see you guys do a tour! There will always be a special place in my heart for GKtW!❤
I volunteered here when I was a DCP! My college required me to go at least once during my college program. I went my first month there, and went back every week after that! I absolutely loved it! If I ever move back to Orlando, I plan on making it a weekly experience!
My daughter was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia(ALL) a month before her 3rd birthday. We were blessed and spent a week there in 2005. We were able to do so many fun things at GKTW and around Orlando. I am blessed because today she is 20 and still with me.

Me, my wife and two kids volunteer and run the ice cream location several times a year. It closes at 9:30pm each night. They serve cones, cups, sundaes, shakes and banana splits. It's very popular and very satisfying to volunteer at.
Who is the 42 people that gave this video a dislike? You have no caring heart in your body. Helping people in need especially in your own community shows that you have compassion for another human being but I guess those 42 people that gave this video a dislike shouldn’t be shown any compassion at all

I have premium, so I rewatched this on my other channel, and watched all the adds so there could be more add revenue for this. Also 10:19 gave me chills
From what I looked up, having premium, they still get some of the premium membership money, and they can actually see it broken down between premium and ad revenue. Good on you doing both, but thought I would share, because I was also concerned about creators losing out if I got premium.

I had the amazing privilege of visiting GKTW as a kid with a close family friend who had leukemia. He is in remission now! They treated all of us like royalty, and we did eat ice cream more than once that day! What an awesome video, thanks for bringing attention to this incredible organization.
As a childhood cancer survivor this is fantastic! When I was 6 years old I had rhabdomyosarcoma,that was 1976. My family and me were given a "make a wish" to out local six flags here in New Jersey. I am so grateful for people and places who donate their money and time to give kids and families with life changing illnesses to have that one chance to live their dream. As a kid we stayed there for my brother’s Wish trip in 1992. In 2007 I went back to volunteer on my Disney College program. This place is amazing and allows ALL kids to have a fantastic break away from the struggles of their daily life.
I stayed at Give Kids the World in 2004. My younger brother had a tumor that wrapped Round his spine and lungs, thankfully he recovered from his condition. But that week at GKTW was life changing and inspired me to become a cast member at Walt Disney world so I can give back to the wish families in Hope's I can make their visit as incredible as mine was
Volunteering at GKTW has over-taken visits to Disney parks during my time in Kissimmee as a snowbird. The staff and volunteers are amazing, and the wish families are so very special. My family visited 21 years ago when my daughter was diagnosed with A.L.L. It is so amazing to see the growth of this amazing place. We will never forget our visit and placing the gold star to commemorate our stay. What an incredible group of people that make the magic happen! Thanks for sharing!
I’ve been crying through this whole video. My little cousins celebration of life is this Saturday. Any organization that tries to help children/ families who are doing through a difficult time is amazing. I’ve heard of GKTWV before but seeing all the things they offer children is beautiful.

OMG I STAYED THERE! Back in April 2010 Everything looks exactly the same haha 💙💙 I stayed there thanks to Make A Wish. I have Lupus, and back then it was really bad. I’m happy to say, 12 years later I’m still going strong thanks to my amazing doctors! Thank you Jenn and Tim for this video! 💙💙 Definitely teared up at the memories 😢💙 I would love to Volunteer there one day. One of my gifts was a Mickey plush and also my sister and I had a lizard in our room 😂😂😂
So glad you guys have been to GKTW. We are from the uk and were fortunate enough to stay there in 2015. Our son had leukaemia, our son is all done with treatment, and all good (touch wood). This place started our love of Florida and we have been back as much as possible. We are actually here now (we go home on Wednesday) and visited GKTW yesterday. It is the most wonderful, humbling place where you are treated as family always. An amazing lifeline for so many families. Love you guys by the way, watch all of your vlogs, we're actually off to amazing animals tomorrow for our last day after watching your vlog.
I worked with someone who was “friends with mayor Clayton” while I lived in Orlando, and seeing them leave their job in the parks to go work with the kids, as well as hearing all the stories about the interactions he had with the kids was so sweet and sometimes heartbreaking but also hopeful, and this video just made me want to volunteer more when I eventually move back 😭 thank you for sharing this fabulous organization

My Daughter passed away 6 years ago, but she got to enjoy Give kids the world , and we had a amazing time and we got to go to Disneyland and we got a pave stone in honor of my beautiful daughter. Who passed away at the age of , 5 this resort literally made our entire vacation we spent more time here and then in Disney world because it's really hard especially when you have limited oxygen tanks and limited time.

My cousin got to stay there it was a wonderful experience that he would have never gotten if Disney didn’t offer it, they were so helpful and just beautiful towards him and our family
We have nothing but love for Give Kids the World. We had the good fortune of taking my son there via Make-A-Wish, and had the most amazing experience of his young life. We were even fortunate enough to visit again 2 years later, just to spend the day as alumni and see his star in the observatory ceiling.
As a kid who suffers from metal illness this means so much to me and I’m assuming everyone who is staying there is having the time of are life. This actually made me cry and I’m just so happy thank you Tim and Jen I love you so much

My family where lucky enough to go to this amazing place 2 years ago. The only place in the world that every adult can’t help but have a tear in the eye but every child can’t help but have smile on there face. Thank you so much GKTW a week we will never ever forget.
I used to love to go to that place with my family. My sister was a wish kid so that is how I got to go. (She is one of the few that survived being a wish kid)
I can usually watch these videos with a straight face having lived through the nightmare of having a child with Leukemia and being blessed with a week at this amazing facility. The been there done that is well ingrained. I made it to where the dome was filled to the top with stars. My daughter's star was one of the first in that dome. Seeing it full hits you right in the gut with so many different emotions. Thank you for sharing your tour and thank you for giving so much to make this possible for more kids. This place is a godsend.
Our family stayed at GKTW Village 6 years ago for my son who has Crohn’s disease, liver failure and is autistic. All the volunteers are simply amazing and so warm to all the families who stay there! There wasn’t a day I didn’t have a tear in my eye seeing all the smiles on the kids faces and the look on the families of escape from everyday life! I will never forget every morning my dad and daughter (who was 5 at the time) always were ready first before all of us and went to get us all breakfast...after about 3 days I finally said to my mom, “why are they always gone so long every morning?” Come to find out, they would get ice cream sundaes every morning and meet the characters while doing that...lol still til this day I always donate to make a wish foundation in hopes to help another family, paying it forward! I still have the pillows they made, gktw candy land game, all the gifts we received every day that was left in our room, the video of my daughter dancing in the talent contest as my son was a judge, and the special star that’s left forever there! Also, the pictures, the surprise on my kids faces when Mayor Clayton came to our “house” to say goodnight! Thank you Tim and Jen for bringing all those memories back!
I am glad that my brother, my mom, and I got to experience this place! I thank you for allowing my brother, Isaiah Goosby-Pepple to have his own star put on the wall. He enjoyed this magical experience at age 5 before he transitioned at age 6. With his smiles and laughs it was a dream come true to enjoy and cherish every moment at Give Kids The World and to make memories with him. I remember when I went there 5 years ago it was right after my first round of chemo I have inoperable brain cancer I just had another surgery done that is supposed to determine my next round of chemo I had great time at give kids the world
My 11 yo son, who was diagnosed with cancer last year, has been OBSESSED with your videos. He had his Make a Wish Trip in June. We stayed at GKTW. He waits patiently for you to post new videos. He took your advise and planned his trip based on your videos. He couldn’t hold his excitement in when he saw you were at GKTW! We sat down tonight and the tears were flowing watching you take a journey of this magical place. You even made a shot out in his special song he had made about his trip. I’d love for you to hear it. We affectionately refer to you as “Tim Tractor.”

GKTW is an absolutely Beautiful place!! Stayed there about 3 months ago, I got diagnosed with blood cancer in 2018 and got a Wish, and I wished for Disney World Orlando and I stayed at GKTW!! And it’s SO AMAZING!! IM SOO HAPPY that they let you visit back!! So I’ll be back in the coming months!! The Ice Cream all day is AMAZING, because it gets HOT in Kissimmee, FL, I Love the Food, and all the other activities that are there!! Truly an amazing place!! Cant describe how amazing my stay was, 1000000-10!

My sister was invited to Give Kids the World Village in 2003! She was diagnosed with Acute T-Cell Leukemia in 2001. It was such an amazing experience as a family for us to just have fun and not have to think about cancer. Love love this video! Brought back a lot of good memories!

My family and I stayed here in 2009. My sister has a star on that ceiling. I will never forget the most amazing experiences we had. How you could get ice cream whenever you wanted, and have a different Holliday every day. There were always gifts left for you at your villa when you got back from the parks and everyone always made sure we were smiling even though everyone was going through the worst of the worst situations. It is truly an amazing place.

As a past wish family of Give Kids The World, as well as a yearly volunteer, this place is heaven on earth. Volunteering is the best feeling you’ll ever experience. You’ll feel like a kid in a candy store after the entire volunteering trip.
Spoke with an amazing gentleman at Casey’s Corner in February. He told me all about his son and how they got involved and volunteers every year since he lost his son. He was able to work his was up to be a volunteer in the Castle of Miracles and knows his sons star is always there. I held back so many tears because of such an amazing organization that shows the good in people and the major theme parks. Once I am settled in Florida, my mission is to volunteer there ❤️ Thank you for showcasing this amazing place.
I have a friend whose daughter received a wish. They had a great experience at give kids the world. They provided for ALL of her medical needs and took care of them for their entire trip. It was amazing! Disney really took good care of them too!
That train set up was built by my dad’s train club years ago, I remember going with him as a teenager to help and it is absolutely overwhelming. Such an incredible place.
