Have you tried to stand still in-game, and see if anything happens.

Try loading up a map in tf2 enable sv_cheats 1 and then type tf_bot_add this will spawn a training mode bot. See how it reacts

Have you tried deleting the infiltrator folder in half life and tf2? Should fix the haunted issue according to a old tf2 thread.
