I wonder if there is a business opportunity here. I wonder if you and others like you would make use of a premium rate phone number that allows you to leave a message for a recently deceased celebrity. Calls cost 25p per minute. A View to a Kill, yes a Bond film but also one of the best Duran Duran songs. Yet back in the late 80's it still wasnt established as a classic even though it was released alongside the film. Strange to see that when looking at past episodes. Pop Quiz is the same way, watching old episodes when established classics were just still newly released records/singles.

This surely had to be one of Richard O'Sullivan's last TV appearances - Not being being mean, but he aged quickly, and he already looked way older then he actually was !

He went on to make a sitcom with Susan Penhaligon, 'Trouble In Mind', recorded in 1990. His last tv appearance was on George Layton's 'This Is Your Life' in 1999.

Mistofoles you would age quickly if you had all sort of different health problems affecting you.

@@fishandchips9033 I'm sure his premature aging was mostly due to his lifestyle, heavy drinking & smoking put years on you, his stroke came some years later. Tom O'Connor was 50 here & Parkinson 54, they look significantly older by today's standards.

@@dobr4481 with not having a healthy lifestyle obviously men didn’t cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise and use (retinol creams which were not known about then by both men and women), to get rid of dead skin as the skin turnover slows down as we get older and takes longer, if you don’t help it it will wrinkle quicker. Also both men AND women did not really know about sunscreen either then. So I’d say for them times he looked how they would if looked for his age.
