Congratulations Scott, you did good job considering your experience. I've known guys that have been doing for awhile and they still have a hard time spraying it consistently. That is the key, consistency. Next time you spray a deck, I suggest you trowel it LIGHTLY, it will look much better 😉. You'll need a helper so you can trowel while they spray. DON'T trowel when too wet. Give it a minute but don't let get dry on you. I use golf shoes to walk on for troweling. Good luck 👍🏼

That's really nice. I have a painted patio that I need to spruce up and I thought about laying tile or stone on it but I have a low lip sliding door and I don't really want to raise the overall level of the patio. This looks very good and should be a lot cheaper and easier to do.

i have an ugly slab of concrete in my backyard and this would be perfect

I used glue for tiles for destroyed layer. Primer are very important in jobs like these

It has almost been a year now since you put this down. How is it holding up? Do you have to reseal it every year? I am thinking of doing my pool deck with this product and am interested in the upkeep maintenance of it after it has been down for a while. Thanks

How do you take out the expansion joints? They should be stuck with the concrete right?

How has the sealer held up? I ended up using the same sealer on my spread rock

I do like this. But its a lot of prep work that I don't really have the time or the equipment. I think I'll just hire some guys to do it for me. 😉

Thank you. I am about to start this project on my Mom's patio and have been struggling with how large to make the "blocks". Yes, they are artificial and “designed in” with the tape. I really like the way you laid yours out. Approximately what size are the full-size blocks you created with the grout line tape?
